Excellent as always!!!

My wife had the drunken noodle, the flavor was amazing!!. Cooked to perfection and just delicious. We also had a few appetizers such as the Tom kah soup. Very good as well. This restaurant was recommended by friends. Although we were seated promptly and order was taken, it took about 1/2 hour to get our appetizer and an additional 1 hour to get our food. The small dining room was full and there was only one server and one front end person. (Later I found out there were 3 cooks in the... More

Two of us dined here at the recommendation of a friend. If a dining experience were only about the food, then it would pass with flying colors. Sadly for "Chaba", a dining experience includes much more... The Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups were very good, and the Pad Thai was some of the best we had ever had! When... More

Several years ago I tried take-out at Chaba Thai-- and waited over an hour in a nearly empty restaurant to get my order. With some misgivings, my wife and I accompanied a neighbor couple a couple days ago. I thoroughly enjoyed my wonton soup with shrimp, some spring rolls, and a shrimp and rice noodle dish. The other three got... More

Stopped here while on business. I had the crispy fried tofu which was a bit too greasy. For main course i had Salmon with vegetables and cashews. The fish was too firm, perhaps overdone. But the taste if the meal was fine.

My wife and I make it a point to go here at least once every year on our trip to Maine. The food is simply outstanding. Truly a hidden gem as someone else said. You'd never guess how good it is from the outside of the building, very unassuming. The place is always half empty, don't let this fool you.... More

We were driving around and randomly came across this place. My wife is a big foodie and if she liked it, I think you cant go wrong. The service was flawless. There was a non asian lady (apologies for making this a little stereotypical) serving us and she was absolutely amazing. Knew what to recommend for a family with young... More

Driving up Rte 1, thinking about lobster rolls, we saw this small, colorful Thai restaurant with a SUSHI sign lit in the window and quickly changed our minds about the roll. So glad we did. Had an excellent signature Tokyo maki roll and one of the chef's specials which was asparagus with seafood - every morsel of asparagus, scallop, shrimp... More

I have reviewed this restaurant during the past year, as the best Thai food in Maine by far...After some months of absence due to several health issues, i was able to return June 2, and once again I was blown away by the excellence and creativity of the Chaba Thai kitchen...Their use of spices is complex, sophisticated and sublime...The review...
