For a quick lunch buffet it was very good. Good variety of food and was kept hot. Clean establishment and you are not rushed. You can start slow with salad and then go on to the different entrees of which there are a good variety for every taste. Also a good amount of different desserts.

Every thing was excellent , really nothing to dislike . For around 14 dollars , there is an extensive salad bar, carved turkey and beef. homemade mashed potatoes and stuff, gravies, corn on the cob, sweet potato, mussels with drawn butter, fried shrimp , fried surf clams, excellent clam chowder , and other soups, tacos, nachos, pizza, chicken. Extensive dessert... More

They have cheapened their selection at this restaurant on their buffet. I had a hard time finding something to eat. They have a taco bar which I am interested in. The fried clams was the best seleciton.

WE had in previous years tried this restaurant . Grat idea. Each dining room is actually a classrom chalkboard and all. Last year on the carving station they had Roast Beef now they have London Broil. Certainly not as tasty. The waitress apologized for the change in menu. Last year much more seafood on the buffett . The food this... More

I was invited to a family birthday party at the school. First off, the food was terrible! The "clams" were just globs of greasy batter. The haddock was bad...old or something. The mashed potatoes were cold and gluey, The only saving grace was the clam chowder but it was lukewarm. I felt sorry for the person who hosted this party... More

I returned to the Dunstan School Restaurant again in late June with my mother and girlfriend. There were some changes that took place this year. The main dining room seems to be more organized this year. The buffet tables have been turned so they are vertical, allowing guests more room to walk around. There is no more roast beef, but... More

Came here when we couldn't decide what to have for dinner. I like that they were able to use what was once a school and make it a restaurant. The dining rooms are in former classrooms. At $15/pp (+$7.95, if you wanted to add a lobster) for the buffet, one better see a couple of carving stations, plenty of food... More

We visited for breakfast before our journey home after a great Maine vacation. What a dissapointment. All the food tased the same, kind of like old grease. Quality is surly lacking and the facility is also very dirty. The carpet was so bad it felt like you were sticking to it. Save you money and go some place else

I like this place and hadn't gone in a long long time. The buffet offers a great selection of soups and chowders, vegetables, meats, mexican food and sweets. You can even make your own soft-serve! For the price, definetly a good place.

We stopped for a bite to eat late July and wish we hadn't. Years ago this place was hopping, now it is run down, dirty, and the food choices were nothing you couldn't get at home. The buffet bar was sloppy unkempt and food wasn't pleasing to look at. The ice cream bar was very dirty, looks like it was... More
