We always enjoy dinner at Uncle Don's! It's good comfort food and pleasant service from a staff who have been there for a few years. Highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese and the baked haddock. Uncle Don comes out to greet his guests. Save room for dessert - the pies and crisps are great! The piano player provides enjoyable... More

We were looking for a restaurant to eat at. We just happened to go by Spurwink Country Kitchen. We figured we had never eaten there so we would try it. When we looked at the menu, we thought the prices were high. We decided to stay and try it. After we ordered our food, it took at least a 1/2... More

Hi there .... we've been driving by this place for years & wanting to eat there. Finally, the stars aligned and we did. It's called Uncle Don's Spurwink Country Kitchen now, and Uncle Don told us that when he bought it, he didn't *want* to change it. The menu is chock full of comfort foods, turkey & stuffing, meatloaf, mac... More

The turkey salad plate was a little routine, but the two crust lemon pie was sublime. Always enjoy a meal at Uncle Don's. He comes out to greet all of his guests periodically, a nice touch.

My aunt used to stop here with me for dinner and pies when I was a teenager. I was delighted to find it still in business under new management. We arrived a bit early for lunch on a Sunday morning but were welcomed in out of the cold rain and the four of us had wonderful desserts, which lived up... More

My husband and I stopped in this restaurant to eat dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with friendly and cheerful smiles. The waitress kept filling our glass with water and making sure we were satisfied. And we were indeed happy with the bread, our meal, and dessert. I ordered a turkey and stuffing dinner and my husband... More

Good menu with a selection of down home favorites like meat loaf, turkey dinner, baked haddock, black beans and rice, and a variety of flavorful and appetizing salads. The food is reliable...always fresh, attractively served, tastes good. Desserts are varied, delicious, and oversized! Service is particularly pleasant, and Jane is a standout.

In the late 80's my wife and I ate frequently at the Spurwink. The price was reasonable, Veggies were out of the can. Fresh fish was well prepared and the desserts.....to die for. So during our recent vaca we were quite anxious to return. New owner. The facility had just re opened for the season...by a few days. My wife's... More
