Delicious. Reasonable

Early in the season but a good crowd anyway. I had the pound and a half lobster dinner with a Caesar salad as a side. It was excellent and only $18.95. You can't go wrong for hard-shell lobster at that price. My wife had the Lobster Penne. The marinara was excellent and was a good complement to the... read more

I brought some friends visiting from out of town to this restaurant and we all couldn't stop raving about the meal afterwards! I enjoyed the clam strips very much and my friends devoured the lobster, scallops, and steamers. The menu also has several non-seafood options (burgers, for example) so everyone is sure to find something they like. The place is... More

We found this place by complete accident. Yup. It's an older building. Sure, it could use some structural improvements but to me it added to the character of the entire experience. Short & to the point here. Best Seafood Chowder I think I've ever had. A mix of haddock, clams and shrimp. The fried haddock sandwich was great as well.... More

We enjoyed a nice meal here during our recent visit to Maine (visited in 2013 as well). The food was very good with the exception my fried calms were overcooked (but were very fresh and tasty). The portions for our lunch were on the small side, which surprised me. Overall we were very happy with the meal and service, our... More

My wife and I were there last night and were very satisfied with our experience. If you are looking for a swanky seafood place, this ain't the place to go. The exterior is a little rough, as is the interior. The plates, forks and knives are from The Christmas Tree Shoppe, but the food is very good and plentiful. The... More

I have eaten here numerous times after spending the morning on the water fishing. It is located right next to the boat ramp making it a great place for a beer and seafood after trailering your boat.

Very casual and pleasant by the water...lovely views of the lobster boats...away from the crowds. Delicious seafood, especially the steamers, fried haddock, and the amazing fresh salad with lobster (lots of large pieces). Lots of tourists and locals alike makes for a lively and friendly environment in this seasonal venue. You can sit inside (all seating with water views) or... More

Sometimes we gamble on small restaurants just to find one like this - a true "hidden gem". We passed on the huge Clambake restaurant in favor of the very small Rising Tide and we ended up with a truly memorable meal. I debated on a 5 star rating, but this is really not a "5-star type" super-elegant place - just... More

My husband and I have been to Rising Tide three times in the last couple of months. First time, I wanted some steamed clams...we had gone to another local spot where they were asking 22 dollars for two pounds of clams...being local we knew how much of a mark up that was and just couldn't do it. We just happened... More
