A no frills place to eat out on a deck and watch the boats come in. Lobster was superb! Our waitress seemed to forget about us while we watched a couple of other parties get waited on who came in after us, but all was okay.

We were staying at The Atlantic Birches Inn, Old Orchard Beach and found out about this restaurant through our inn keeper. We arrived at Rising Tide about 5:30pm and had a short 20 minute wait. Our server Adam was very friendly and even helped by taking a family photo shot of us at the table. The food was delicious and... More

Went because of reviews about how great the fresh seafood was and its great view. We found that the seafood was good, arrived crisp and hot. However, all the sides that it came with were meh. French fries and onion rings did not arrive hot and the coleslaw was flavorless. Would not go back, nothing special.

We ate there today and found the service to be unfriendly, bordering on rude. Our waitress brought us the wrong order and tried to insist we were the ones that were wrong. From that point on, we were basically ignored...our water had to be reordered twice. The food was not spectacular either. Try another restaurant in the area.

We have been going to this small seafood restaurant for years. We try to make it outside each time at one of the five tables so we can eat and watch the harbor at the same time. Since it is adjacent to the lobster fisherman's shop, lobster is always on the menu in many forms..

This place is very small so keep that in mind. We had a party of nine and it took over an hour to get seated but waiting was half of the fun! We walked to the end of the pier and watch people that were fishing. The tide was changing and it was really amazing to see how fast the... More

Each year when we come back to OOB, the Rising Tide is on your itinerary. No jackets and ties here, just a place to get fresh lobster and steamers. The view is lovely, but most folk forget it and dive into the food. BTW, ShipYard Export Ale goes well with lobster

10 of us biked all day. We were ready for a low key lobster spot. Lobster and Mussels did not disappoint. Fried shrimp were the tiny popcorn breaded shrimp. Reasonable prices. Non seafood options. We were happy w the lobsters. Overall ok, think fish warf w indoor dining.

My husband was given a gift certificate to the Rising Tide for his birthday so we decided to take a ride on a lovely sunny Saturday to find the place. The Rising Tide is at the very end of the pier so you have views from all of the seats inside and outside. The food was delicious. The prices appeared... More
