The Rising Tide is a wonderful little restaurant with beautiful views of the Saco harbor and what we've been calling the poop deck since childhood. Always a wonderful meal with excellent service!

This is a beach restaurant. Nothing fancy but the food is fabulous. The portions are large for the money and well prepared. Would recommend to all who are in the area. I make it a point to go there a few times each summer.

I have been here twice in the past few weeks. Both times we waited 15-30 min. The food is worth the wait and prices are right. The young wait staff is upbeat and they move fast to cover several tables each (but were we never felt rushed). The lobster and steamers ($19.99) were cooked perfectly and the steamers were sweet.... Absolutely one of the top meals I've had...period! I heard about this casual restaurant, looked at some reviews and was surprised it was not rated number 1 for ALL of the greater Portland area. Granted it's small and the building is not anything special, the food (particularly the lobster and clams), service and view are all top notch. We went... More

Visited the Rising Tide restaurant last week. Small dining room with about 10 tables and a small outside deck with about 5 tables. We had the fried clam/scallop dinners and they were excellent, they offer 2 sides with the dinners, we had the cole slaw and onion rings. There were loads of onion rings and a small serving of slaw,... More

After seeing this restaurant two years ago and not having a chance to visit, I was thrilled to have the opportunity this time around. As you pull in, you can see where your dinner is coming from. Pretty cool feeling, if I do say so myself. I opted for the whole 1.5 pound lobster. It was perfectly cooked, perfectly fresh,... More

We went here for dinner right around sunset. The view was spectacular! My wife and I are still raving about it being the best sunset we've ever experienced. The lobster was so fresh and plentiful! My wife got the shrimp dinner and she loved it! I thought the shrimp was going to be larger shrimp, but they were baby shrimp.... More

When in the area this is one of our 'go to' places. The location is incredible as it overlooks the water and one can watch the boats coming and going. You have a choice of inside dining or eating outside on the deck. The food is always incredible but we are particularly fond of their lobster rolls. We have never... More

Just came back from 2 week trip. Best scallops we have EVER eaten! Anywhere! Lobster roll was delicious and perfect! Lobster Stew was to die for & sent our friends to go and try it the next day! Wish you could mail some to NC. Awesome view too.

We waited at this hopping location at a boat ramp and were rewarded with a lovely seat on the deck overlooking the river and marsh. Service was a bit slow, but the seafood was fresh and tasty. Our kids were able to choose from a few non-seafood choices as well and found watching all the boats coming in to be... More
