Just go inside this little seaside shack for fresh, well prepared seafood. The menu is limited but the food is great. The prices were reasonable, service was fast and efficient. It was exactly what we were looking for on our first night in Maine.

Located right at the Northern end of the coast road from Old Orchard Bay (known locally as OOB), this fisherman's cooperative sits right on the water's edge. Whilst you don't come here for the decor, the place has a certain rustic / no-nonsense charm about it, and let's the food do all the talking. The extensive menu caters for all... More

Following the reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to have our Sunday evening meal here. We were staying at the Black Point Inn which is about a 15 min drive away. It's an easy place to miss as you pull into the car park. Nothing visible until you get out of the car and head for the waterfront. A small... More

I'm still dreaming about the seafood chowder...It was easily the best I've ever eaten! The scallops were also delish but I would encourage everyone to try the chowder, it's the BEST!

Good food, lots of it, reasonable prices. In October this can be hard to find. Nothing fancy. Classic Maine seafood restaurant experience.

We return to OOB yearly, and the Rising Tide is a must stop. It is not fancy, but the steamers and lobster are fantastic. You have a nice view of the lobster boats moored in the river. The Rising Tide is not big, so you may have a wait especially in peak season, but oh the wait is well worth... More

Excellent place to eat. Friendly, quaint, beautiful view. Can't say enough about the food and service. Outside dining as well. Not expensive either. Can't wait to visit again.

The food was great and the prices were reasonable. We had the seafood chowder, fried scallops, and Lobster and all were wonderful. The atmosphere was minimal but if you just care about good seafood then that does not matter.

Only a week's vacation; but, we ate lobster twice a day. It was our last night when we accidentally discovered this jewel of the coast. The very best lobster and lobster roll we had! Service was great. Prices were the best, also. I wish we had more time. The full menu was intriguing. We had been using magazine recommendation of... More
