So Italian

My husband and I eat here fairly often but when ate there today, it seemed better than usual. Our waitress, Danielle, was superb, very friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this place

We ate there about a month ago with another couple. Service was fine and there was a wide array of choices on the menu but the prices were high for the quality of the meals. Ambiance was fine ... don't know if we will go back.

so overpriced and disappointed with this place. The place is not warm especially when we came in during a cold freeze spell - food was not very well prepared and seemed microwaved - this is a turn off for me. Pasta is not of good quality and the serving size is not typical of most Italian restaurants that serve good... More

Just moved two weeks ago from NJ. Arrived to a record amount of snow ( 5 feet) , that's FIVE feet of snow, temperatures at night dipping below zero...I was sooooo thrilled to have dinner Anjon's tonight! It is V Day so all booked, asked to move up our reservation because of the next blizzard and they were incredibly accommodating....great... More

My son lives in Old Orchard Beach so we decided to try a restaurant that we had never been to before. We are Italian so we thought we should try it. The sauce was amazing, we all loved it. We had the veal parmesan and lasagna. The tiramisu was excellent. It was a little pricey but over all great. We... More

On vacation, stopped in here when i saw "great steaks and seafood" outside. Was very disappointed that there was no prime rib on the menu. Sat at the bar for a drink, and ended up staying there to eat. Bartender was GREAT! Had a mix of appetizers, all were average, none outstanding. Wife had 2/$20 steamed lobsters, FANTASTIC!!!!

We and the stuffed bread appetizer. It was excellent. I had the chicken with alfredo and my husband had the tour of Italy. Both were excellent and the comfort Italian food we were looking for.

Five out-of-state business colleagues from 3 different states were seeking a nice comfortable relaxed environment where we could enjoy off hours conversation in a leisurely fashion with a good meal. One of our colleagues is from Ohio and a Maine lobster dish was his one wish. On the recommendation of the hotel, another colleague made a reservation at Anjon's for... More

It's just okay. I alway expect better. Very pricey and average Italian food. I can produce higher quality, better tasting, and more authentic Italian food in my own kitchen for considerably less cost. It's not a place I plan to frequent repeatedly, but convenient if you're hungry and in the area.
