Serious seafood

Anjon's calls itself an Italian restaurant and that is true but it's the seafood that we come here for. The menu is vast and there are plenty of options. The service is quick and always friendly, even when the restaurant is packed in the summer months. A fun little feature is the little fountain... read more

The place smells dirty the minute one walks in the door. I did not eat much as I was uncomfortable with the smell. I was not able to get away from it. I was a guest of my employer so did not say anything. My choice would be to never go there - ever.

We come to Maine once a year for 5 days and eat every night here. Great menu with a Italian and seafood selections. Their Lobster Stew is the best. Can't get it anywhere else but here.

this is not italain food, save your money they cannot cook real food. very cheap ingredients . very high prices. they are across the street from a swamp, so it smells most of the time. cook at home.

The food was ok, we had a party of 7, waited a long long time for our waitress and then a long time for food. And it was not busy. And then the bill came and it was 18% added automatically. If the service was great, I would have tipped her more actually.

We live in the area, and for some unknown reason haven't tried this restaurant until recently. I can assure you, we'll be back. The restaurant staff is friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is comfortable and roomy, and the food is to die for. I had the espresso martinis and hubby chose from one of the varieties of bottled beer, and... More

Been wanting to try this place since we moved to Maine over a year ago. Had heard it was pretty good. Last minute decision. We were seated right away, not normally the case probably in the summer when tourists return to the area. Then we opened the menu we were shocked....it was very big with lots of nice choices however... More

My husband and I eat here fairly often but when ate there today, it seemed better than usual. Our waitress, Danielle, was superb, very friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this place

We ate there about a month ago with another couple. Service was fine and there was a wide array of choices on the menu but the prices were high for the quality of the meals. Ambiance was fine ... don't know if we will go back.

so overpriced and disappointed with this place. The place is not warm especially when we came in during a cold freeze spell - food was not very well prepared and seemed microwaved - this is a turn off for me. Pasta is not of good quality and the serving size is not typical of most Italian restaurants that serve good... More
