Anjons has been a regular stop for us when we are staying at our Maine residence. The visit in January 2014 was outstanding. The food was truly wonderful, the haddock chowder was the best I have tasted for a very long time, the seafood for our entrees was also fresh and very tasty with everything being served by a charming... My wife and I went to dinner with another couple on New Year's Eve. We had driven by Anjon's hundreds of times over the years, but had never dined there. It was the other couples turn to make reservations, and we were surprised they picked here over a Portland restaurant. Parking was not far from the door (important as the... More

Typical Maine style Italian food. Basically a pasta house, red sauce and spaghetti. Not like being in New York.

Four of us went for double lobsters, but truly, the two of us who live here have been eating lobsters twice a week all summer, and we were tempted to try something else. So, we had mussels, very good, calamari, very good, steak with shrimp, good but not great, fried clams, sincerely I was too full to thoroughly them all,... More

For the last 5-8 years we eat at Anjon's every September for three nights. It has been one of our favorites and look forward each September to eating there on our annual visit to Maine. This year was not as good as in the past. It wasn't the food, it was as good as ever even with being a little... More

Staff was nice, we were seated fairly quickly. The food was good, not exceptional. However, overall the experience was pleasant.

Have been to Anjon's in the past and was not disappointed on this trip. This is not a hip and trendy Italian restaurant, but a nice comfortable place to have a good meal. Visited twice over two weeks; as couple and with family. The service was friendly, the food delicious and enjoyed a nice quiet eating experience. Have not been... More

My husband has been looking forward to dining here for sometime now, since we were in the area kid free we thought that this was the right time. I was disappointed with the look and feel of the dining area, the bathroom is in much need of an improvement. I ordered the chicken Calabrese and my husband the chicken marsala... More

This was my 2nd visit ( first time was in December 2012) I got to gauge how good Anjon's really is visiting on a Saturday night during high season. The place was packed and we waited little over half hour for a table of 6. Our server, Julia ( I think was her name) was fantastic--great personality, prompt and checked... More

We have not been to Anjons in many years but always had a great meal before. This time it was not good. My fish tasted like it was frozen from the supermarket frozen food aisle.
