Ate there with grandchildren and daughter when staying in Old Orchard Beach. Very busy but plenty of seating at picnic tables all over the property. Simple fried food but for how busy they were service was promt and accurate. Nice setting out back at picnic table. Park like setting. Servings were large and well prepared. Excellant haddock sandwich and my... More

We were visiting a friend in Biddeford and when planning our lunch out, he asked what kind of food we wanted. We said that seafood would be good. He (being new to the area) did some checking and was told that Ken's Place was the place to go. So we did. Best. Decision. Possible. The food was great. The ambience... More

I visited Ken's last Friday for the first time. Every visit I make to my home state I have to have whole belly fried clams at least once. Ken's was suggested and off we went! I wasn't at all disappointed.I didn't bother with fries, onion rings or anything else, but just ordered the clams with the homemade tartar sauce. Both... More

Fried whole belly clams. Batter or crumbs. Throw in some onion rings. Get the homemade tartar sauce. Forget the ketchup. My favorite place to get clams when I'm in Maine.

Ken's Place is OK. The food is not bad (if you're into fried food), but not spectacular. Bayley's just down the street is better on a good night. The atmosphere? As another reviewer aptly put it: "A lobster shack with a roof." So why is Ken's always packed? Rumor has it among the locals that Howie Carr has cut a... More

This was our first time to this restaurant. Must say, I was quite impressed with the food. Definitely not the type of restaurant that has great ambiance, but the food is good. We had fried clams and fried haddock while the kids had hamburgers. Make sure you tell them well done on the kids burgers or they do arrive with... More

Not the place to go for ambience, but the food is so good. Love the fried haddock and clams, so usually get a fisherman's platter. Plus there's a full bar there, so that's a definite advantage.

I do like shrimp, lobster, crab and scallops. For tourists this is a great place to sample Maine rustic cuisine in a casual atmosphere. The servers (order takers at windows) are great. Personable, helpful and attentive. The food is pretty typical fried seafood. I hadn't been there in years so I thought "why not". I wasn't disappointed, I just wasn't... More

I ordered a fried clam dinner and it was so huge that I could not finish it! I prefer the batter fried to the crumbs! They were terrific! Plan to return! Place was very busy . The quality and quantity cannot be beat! try them!!

Ken's is an institution. But that's too stuffy a term for this long-standing landmark in Pine Point. My sisters and I grew up on Ken's, so it was only natural that we reunited with some of the best fried clams (either crumbs or batter) and shrimp, and those irresistible clamcakes just last week. If you can get there for lunch... More
