Although Portland offers some real good dining choices, it was raining and we didn't want to travel far. The hotel recommended the Sebago Brewing Company which was down the street. We found it right away but couldn't find the entrance to the parking lot. It was a dark and stormy night or perhaps the lights on the sign were out... More

My wife and I recently had lunch with a friend at the Sebago Brewing Company in Scarborough. My wife and friend enjoyed their lunch well enough but I felt my Classic American Burger was only average and my fries were overdone. Our server was pleasant but never returned to the table to refill our glasses or even really to check... More

Food was pretty good. Local Beer selection was very good. Went on a Friday night, had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Staff was friendly

We recently had dinner at the Sebago while vacationing in southern Maine. Simply put, it was an outstanding dining experience. Service was exceptional... atmosphere was relaxing... and the food was excellent... we will return for sure...

Good points: lobster roll ($18) is excellent, containing a ton of very fresh meat & just the right amount of dressing. I didn't have a beer, but the menu lists an impressive variety of their own brews. Also, the staff are very accommodating. Drawbacks: One of my lunch companions had the black bean burger ($10) , which was dried out... More

So we were quite bummed that we ate somewhere else and then found Sebago Brewing on review so we decided to try it. Wow were we amazed. The beer was amazing and we stayed long enough to have an appetizer and it didnt dissapoint. Im a sanitation expert as a profession and all they were doing was cleaning during downtime,... More

I have to echo some of the other reviews I've seen for this location. Our overall experience was not terrible - but it could have been much better if our service had been even adequate. The beer, as expected, was quite good. Definitely try the Hop Swap while it's still in season. The food was merely okay - my wife's... More

Tried here, the evening special, thai shrimp stir fry, which was excellent. Only criticism is that the snow peas in the dish were not tipped. Perhaps they are not supposed to be, however, that is the way I prepare them at home to avoid the stringy ends, which are sometimes hard to get through. Otherwise, outstanding. The cesaer salad with... More

We've visited Sebago since it opened, and have generally enjoyed it once a month or so, but it has steadily been going downhill in the past year. Granted, the beer is still really good, so that is the highlight. The service is lackluster, as if the waitstaff is overburdened and loosely managed. The food lacks the same care & presentation...
