Been to the Cockpit twice now. Both times had the same server. She was inattentive and reached right across my friend's face to pick up an empty plate without even saying "excuse me". When my friend was asked if he'd like more coffee he replied "no thank you", but may I have a glass of water please?" She vanished and... More

Went to the Cockpit cafe for breakfast while in Maine. My wife, granddaughter and I placed our order. The breakfast was terrific. Portions were very good. We all agreed it was the best breakfast we've had in a while. Service was very good. We go to Maine often and will definately be going back. It is well worth the trip.

Waited about three quarters of an hour to get in. Line was out into the parking lot queue up in front of entrance. Only after we were finally seated did we discover they do not take credit/debit. There was no indication whatsoever on the front entrance that they are not sophisticated enough to accept payment like many area establishments. If... More

We were referred by a couple very nice local older gentlemen. They said we had to have our breakfast at the Cockpit Cafe it was the best in town. Well... they were not wrong, it was amazing. Best omelette ever and my husband had the Eggs Benedict, homemade Hollandaise sauce covering two perfectly poached eggs and hidden under all this... More

Have an old aviation theme, you can watch planes come and go from the Sanford airport as you eat. Great breakfast food, so much good for the price and it's great. Recommend doing breakfast here if you're in the area.

The aviation theme of this café is perfect for flying enthusiasts like my husband and I. The food is also delicious. The lobster omelets are great as well as their homemade buttermilk biscuits!! The café has a good view of ramp and taxiway of the airport so there are always a variety of planes to view out the window while... More

A great cafe for breakfast and lunch. Although a number of aviatiors frequent the cafe, it is the local poplulation and seasonal guests that are the main patrons. A very nice selection on menu, hard not to find something you like. The food is generally pretty good, occassionally an off day has occured. Frequent for breakfast and lunch - both... More

Oh my god, I live here in maine and I go here any chance I get. The atmosphere is great, and I love the chocolate chip pancakes. Not very expensive at all, and it is speedy service. While you eat you can look at model airplanes and newspaper clippings. Great place to eat.

Had a perfect breakfast here with my 8 year old son, when we came to the airport to check it out ahead of his Discovery Pilot's Flying Lesson. We'd been told the breakfast was wonderful - indeed it was. Some of the biggest, best pancakes my son had ever eaten. He says their Hot Chocolate is "the most awesome one... More

We have had breakfast at the Cockpit Cafe. Each time we have had breakfast, the food has been excellent and very reasonable. The waitressing staff is excellent and very pleasant. When you go for breakfast at the Cockpit Cafe, remember to bring cash because no credit or debit cards are accepted.
