Had a perfect breakfast here with my 8 year old son, when we came to the airport to check it out ahead of his Discovery Pilot's Flying Lesson. We'd been told the breakfast was wonderful - indeed it was. Some of the biggest, best pancakes my son had ever eaten. He says their Hot Chocolate is "the most awesome one... More

We have had breakfast at the Cockpit Cafe. Each time we have had breakfast, the food has been excellent and very reasonable. The waitressing staff is excellent and very pleasant. When you go for breakfast at the Cockpit Cafe, remember to bring cash because no credit or debit cards are accepted.

Good solid home company. You get your money's worth here. Not fancy because they concentrate on eating good at a fair price. The coffee is good and rich - like a diner.

Have eaten at the Cockpit over twenty times for breakfast. When I'm in the mood for eggs benedict this is where I head. But beware this place is not a secret, if you head in on a Saturday or Sunday morning be prepared for a short wait, it's a favorite of many locals.

My family goes to this restaurant 2-3/month for breakfast. The food and waitstaff are great, breakfast portions are huge and even if the wait looks imposing, the line moves quickly.

I have eaten breakfast and lunch here. Good food for a good price. It is right at the airport looking at the planes parked on the tarmac.

The Cockpit Café is located at Sanford Airport and shares a building with Southern Maine Aviation, a flight instruction school. The inside is small with a counter that has a few stools plus about dozen tables that seat four. It has a cozy cafe atmosphere. Normally, it’s a very busy place because it serves the best breakfast in the area... More

This little place at the tiny airport is a really terrific diner. Great breakfast, well prepared and generous in portion. Waitress was friendly and service was good. Lots of regulars, lots of talking , lots of good humor. Their homemade hash is excellent as well as the homemade biscuits and gravy. Prices are reasonable and it is an easy place... More

My wife and I are visiting our son in Sanford. We read about this restaurant on line and decided to give it a try. Boy are we glad that we did! This is an incredible place. The food was great. The service was fast and friendly. There is a wait for tables but only because the line stretched out the... More
