While driving through Maine, I was shocked to find there actually was a Bonanza restaurant still in business. Without a doubt, I pulled over and had dinner here. The food really wasn't anything special and the all you can eat salad bar & dessert bar was good. The price for the meals were extremely inexpensive for steak and shrimp and... More

It was nothing really special, but the food was very good. I got the salad bar and there was a good selection.

Stopped by on a quiet Saturday and we left very satisfied. The steaks were good and the salad bar was fantastic. We couldn't stop snacking on the mini corn dogs. The salad bar was clean and well stocked. All staff members were pleasant and helpful.

First of all the Steaks were fantastic ! Done just right ! I had a Huge 16 oz T-bone for $16. with the worlds greatest salad bar. The Salad Bar was constantly filled with fresh food. My wife who had a gastric bypass a year ago was allowed to order a child size meal. Our guests had steak and fish... More

Bonanza is one of my favorite places to go for good food and excellent value. No, it isn't a big fancy dining place, and it does need some updating on the interior, but the food makes up for it. The menu is basic American cuisine, steaks, burgers, chicken, and fish. A 12oz center cut sirloin steak dinner is $12.99 and... More

Patrons were coughing amd touching everything on salad bar, throwing fits when the whip cream needes to be replaced, food was tolerable but the patrons are what will keep me away from ever going there again.

This location has been in continuous business for decades. So obviously it is providing whatever its customers want. And that's a great formula for success. If one is unfamiliar with this restaurant's style of dining, then one could be dissatisfied with the experience, but that would not be the business's fault, but rather the diner's for not knowing what type... Although known for its steaks, Bonanza has other offerings, such as grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, grilled chicken, and tilapia, plus the salad bar which always has an extensive selection of about two dozen items. Ordering is cafeteria style. You get your beverage in line. You pay the cahier. You are given a numbered plastic marker to match your order number.... More

This was not a good experience. It was plenty pricey for what it was. There was not enough appetizing food on the buffet to make it worth what we paid.To top it off, the wait staff roamed among the tables of diners with a tiered cart, clearing tables into open bins on the cart. It's noisy and just plain gross... More

Bonanza is a great place for lunch or dinner. Each day offers different choices on the salad bar, such as fried chicken, turkey, meatloaf, etc, along with the usual salad choices. There are usually 3 varieties of soups as well as desserts. There is a little printed menu of the daily offerings where you order. All meals include salad bar.... More
