We stopped here for breakfast. All I can say is that it was just okay. We were hungry, we ate there and there was nothing memorable about the place that would make me want to return. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I have been back in the area, but have passed by this place to find and... More

I always eat at the Golden Rooster every time I am in Saco, Maine. They put the big chain diners to shame. Their breakfast menu is the best.

Great food, fun atmosphere, right and sunny. Inexpensive but they don't skimp on service or portions. They close early so don't dawdle!

My husband and I came here for breakfast on a recent trip to OOB. Food is edible but nothing to rave about. We both got the "pancake special": 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, and 2 pancakes. The pancakes were really dry- I had to keep putting syrup on them so I could swallow them. Presentation is lacking as well. Our waitress... More

Stopped for lunch today - they have a nice selection of Greek dishes along with typical American food... Nothing to write home about, but it worked for us. Not very crowded, but then tourist season is just about over with.

Visited here during our trip to Maine. A busy Sunday morning as people packed the place, yet the service was very good. Our breakfast was quite good as well. Excellent home fries, good bacon, toast and eggs. Omelette was also good and they know how to do bagels nicely. People seem to like this place and locals as well as... More

We were staying at old orchard and looked up this place on here and made a trip it only took us 15 mins from oob. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. The food was great, great price! I am glad we stopped!

Felt like a second rate citizen, we sat and waited for close to 5 min before we got a menu. We had to sit and listen to an older waitress tell the younger one she had to serve us because they are now doing every other table. The older one just wanted to serve a table with locals that was... More

Kids love coming here for breakfast. HUGE pancakes. It's all good. Love the lunch sandwiches. Fantastic tuna wrap. Nobody makes a better BLT. Love the coffee & the iced tea. It's a fantastic diner. I'm drooling thinking about it...

Excellent breakfast. Busy local place for breakfast. They always have a special that is very good. We found the corned beef hash to be a pleasant surprise. Speedy service to get you on your way.
