A Saco landmark

Rapid Ray's is a fixture on Saco's Main Street and for good reason. Good burgers, reasonable prices, and lots of memories for those of us who grew up in town.

Love to stop in here for a burger and fries. Love the history of the place and the atmosphere. It is so fun to just cozy up to the bar and watch traffic go by while eating a delicious burger. Love this place!!!

I'm not going to cry over the fact that their website's prices are completely old and inaccurate. The food is still on the better side of average. Fries aren't stellar. A true rating would be 3.5. If prices were the same in house as they listed on their website, I would've probably given them four starts.

You will not find gourmet treats or epicurean delights here, but honest American fast food. Rapid Ray's has been around for decades, satisfying hungers until the wee hours of the mornings, (on weekends). It's standing room only, and although there are a couple of tables--there's no chairs! Essentially, it's a take-out only type of establishment. So, if you like hot... More

Very nostalgic! Burgers and fries were good, but its the experience of the ordering and the place itself that makes it.

Well, not really a restaurant, but a great take-out. Starting out as a street corner hot dog coach years ago, Ray now has a real establishment without wheels. I never drive through Saco without stopping for a hot dog and neither should you. The celery salt is the key!!

Some things in life you can count on. One is Rays being open for those late night burger cravings. I've been eating here since college (many moons ago) and it's still a treat.

OK, its still there after 50 or something years. It's bigger, shinier and more expensive. The product, however has not kept up with the times. Serves a steamed hot dog and bun similar to what you'd find at a high school football game...cept Ray's has celery salt.

Never think of a hot dog stand type place selling lobster rolls but they do. Great fast service. Lobster roll was good and fries were great. Everything was fresh. Will go there again.
