Homemade, Hot, and Fresh!

Everything is homemade and made to order. Nothing sits under a heat lamp. Corned beef hash with real corned beef, not from a can. They let my son have lunch for breakfast, which was also all homemade. Biggest chicken tenders I've ever seen. Will be going back next time I visit.

The food was alright. The seating was very tight, crowded and uncomfortable. The older gentlemen practically force us to sit in a area where your conversation can be heard from the next table that was at your elbow. Also I don't need to hear remarks about people not finishing their coffee. Really! It was if we were an inconvenience to... More

We met friends here for breakfast...once again, it was recommended to us by other friends. I am pleased to report that it is very good. My understanding is that Chef George (I believe that is his name)...takes great pride in his culinary talents and eat he serves to his guests...we were not disappointed. Great scrambled eggs...perfect bacon...delicious pancakes. Our friends... More

I stoped by this morning and had breakfest and 3 cups of coffee. The cook was wearing a red chefs hat and welcomed me to the diner. I ordered 2 over easy, home fries, toast (dark rye) and a ham steak. When my meal arrived (very fast service)I was some surprised with the ham steak, it was the biggest piece... More

This diner is right on Route one but can easily be missed. I brought my grandson here for breakfast on a Saturday morning around ten am. Be warned, this place is very small. There is not much room between the tables. If you plan on bringing a crowd it will definately be tight. I ordered the french toast and my... More

Hidden away amongst the dozen or so auto dealerships on Route 1 in Saco is the Auto Mile Diner. This is a great place to eat breakfast or lunch. The locals know about it and so do the people in the auto business. Everything is incredibly home made and very fresh. The menu is very large and breakfast features rarities... More

We arrived to the Chef singing out a tune in key & quite good. He greeted us himself and asked us to sit wherever we wanted. Interesting wall art everywhere along with breakfast and lunch menus, also menus at the table. Coffee served immediately in large oversized cups with the diner logo. Our waitress suggested a few wonderful sounding meals,... More

Fun little diner close to Hampton Inn. Good food and good prices. Entertaining just to be there and read the paper menus on the walls...

George makes his own corn beef hash, and I love it. We stop in this place every time we head towards Portland from Kennebunk. My friend is not a fan of hash, and he is also crazy about this unassuming little place.
