We've been eating @ Skippers for about 8 years now. The seafood is fresh & cooked to perfection. They have small portions "boats" which gives a very good serving including cole slaw & home made fries, allowing us to walk out w/o feeling stuffed! The menu has a nice variety of foods from delicious home made seafood chowders, sandwiches, light... More

Came from New Mexico and going up to Vinalhaven. Got off the highways and went into Saco to go for lunch. Got the friend clams. They are the BEST I have had anywhere, anytime. Worth the detour and I would do it everytime.

Pretty casual place where you order and serve yourself. If you like fried seafood, this is a good local choice. They serve a surprisingly good breakfast also. Parking is limited and it's important to note that they're closed on Mondays.

The fried seafood is delicious, especially the fried oysters (my favorite) They also have chowders that are just like you would expect in Maine, full of fish or clams. Lots of non seafood dishes are available for the land lubbers.

I always used to get take out from this restaurant when I lived in S. Maine. Went there recently while on vacation and the food is still as awesome as ever. I love the macaroni salad and I tried their lobster roll for the first time. It was awesome. Love the potato wedges too. Restaurant is clean and service is... More

Our first night in Maine, we were dying for a lobster roll. No complaints! Their food was good and their prices were reasonable. I wish that we had returned for breakfast!

Whether you are looking for chowder, salads, wraps, chicken fingers, fish and more you cannot beat this place. The quality and quantity of the food and the price cannot be beat. We have tried other well know seafood places and wished we had saved our money and gone here. The people who own this restaurant and there staff are always... More

If you like homemade homefries, homemade corned beef hash (not from the can) and very friendly employees, this is the place to eat. Crepes are phenomenal, choice of plain, country style, filled with fruit or cheese blintz and comes with a side of whipped butter, not those small pre packaged butter packs. The stuffed French toast, 2 huge slices of French... More

Food was the best we've found in the Old Orchard area and the haddock was the best we've ever had anywhere! Family of four - had dinner here twice and breakfast once.

Found this place in Saco, Maine. Super friendly folks and great seafood. I had the clam strips and my wife had the fish and chips. The only negative would be the selection of pepsi products. I simply prefer coca-cola products.
