Conversation stopped when our dinners arrived!

I was recently on a business trip in Saco and this restaurant was recommended by business associates. There were 3 in our party. My wife and I are seniors and really don't like to take home leftovers. The $5.00 split a plate charge is perfect for our senior appetites. Their upscale house wine selection (Rutherford Ranch Cab) is a perfect match for their up scale food preparations. Convenient around behind their building or across the street parking lots.

We had a party of 10 with 6 kids - they set us at two tables across from each other and it went so smoothly!! The service was impeccable and the food was perfect. I would definitely go back there without hesitation!!!

Had a wonderful meal here (June 13, 2015), on a drive from Maine to Rhode Island. It was a great stop: easy access off the highway, convenient across the street parking, terrific wait staff, and a wonderful meal! We had veal limon and veal marsala and both were excellent. The veal limon over pasta (I think of veal francaise) is... More

I had the Sausage with Peppers over Linguine and my wife had the Eggplant Parm over Linguine. Also had an appetizer (Meat Pie - would not recommend) and desert. 2 entrees, appetizer and desert came to $50 with tax and tip.

We arrived on a weekday evening around 6 pm. The restaurant was busy, but there were open tables. We were greeted by a friendly and efficient host, who seated us and served us bread and water. As it turned out, that's all we had. Our server arrived and asked if we would like drinks. When we said that the water... More

I absolutely love Traditions! I order the same thing every time I go - veal marsala. So good! The wine inventory is excellent, the food (I usually taste my companion's meal so I know it's all good) is consistently outstanding and the prices are very fair. It's a small restaurant, and it can be loud in there, but it's so... More

Traditions is a popular local spot for Italian food- like your mama made it. So popular, in fact, that we got there extra early when it opened- and we had a choice of booths. I guess by 5:30 is when the place really fills up. I liked the cozy traditional corner restaurant feeling- the place retained its old pressed-tin ceiling... More

Last evening was the 5th time we have had dinner here in the last two years. When they open at 5:00 pm, you better be there on time, because the booths fill up quickly. The bread is homemade, which starts things off! Their various meals are very good and usually there are left overs... The price for 3 dinners was... More

Very good local small town Italian restaurant. Chicken parmigiano is the go to dish. Red sauce is very flavorful. Nightly specials vary the choices but the regular menu is broad enough for the size of restaurant. Ambience is cozy but small , do not bring party larger than '6 because tables are tight and not made for spacious dining. Do... More
