The perfect lunch stop

We spent our winter break nearby and visited the Market Basket twice for lunch. Both times it was great. They make at least some (if not all) of the food here, with excellent quiches, made-to-order sandwiches, and many other take-away foods. Plus a bunch of breads, scones, and specialty foods. What a find !! A place with homemade breads and sandwiches made to order. Quite a variety of things to choose from, unusual things made fresh.Outdoor seating, upstairs seating or food to go. No wonder it's so busy but you get waited on fairly quickly. Limited hours but not to be missed.

Always go here to grab a sandwich for work and never disappoints. Regular prices are ok but they always have half off stuff in the cooler from day before that is a real bargain. They also have really really good sweets, good drink and wine selection as well.

This place reminds me of a European cafe. So many yummy goodies to discover. Always like to stop in and have a nice cup of dark roast Carrabasset cofffee and see what they got for tasty treats. Never disappointed with this place.

I went here the other day to get two sandwiches while they were good I has to wait forever due to 3 people in front of me and 3 behind me and they only had one person making the food and one person doing the cash register. Seemed a little understaffed to me right around lunch time

When we were in the Rockport/Camden area we went here several times for coffee, breakfast items, and bread. It's a cute little shop, and everything was delicious. The bread was excellent especially the Ciabatta. I wish we had a place like this at home!

Two sandwiches, a salad, two drinks, cheese, crackers, and a brownie for $30. The sandwiches (smoke salmon and a turkey thanksgiving sandwich) were great and hearty. Great bread. Would recommend of you're looking for something to go.

Throughout the year Market Basket provides us with consistently good sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, a great selection of goodies to buy from hard to find English Marmite to great wines. It is a perfect place to get some quality takeout food if you don't feel like cooking dinner. We had roasted guinea hens and a rice salad for dinner... More

This is a great place to pick up delicious bread, baked goods, sandwiches and some gourmet items. I spent a good deal of money our first night in Rockport on their chicken fingers, haddock cakes, shrimp cakes, pasta, and bread. Expensive but delicious!
