Not as pricey as other places, but a fantastic, chunky lobster roll. We tried a couple of times and found off-season hours a bit sporadic, but once that OPEN sign was lit, we were glad we tried again.

As many have noted, the attitude couldn't be better, owner & dogs.
The food was only ok. We got fried shrimp, fries & side of beans; fried whole clams, fries with side of beans. Unfortunately, the beans were the highlight of the meals. They were excellent. The clams were a little overcooked for my taste, the shrimp were not much...

Saw the reviews and we decided to stop. What an awesome experience. John was terrific at making the first really good lobster roll (I had Red's...just a bunch of cold lobster with butter to pour on top) I had in Maine. He added tomato and lettuce with mayo. THE BEST!! The handmade fries will want you to ask for more and...

Generous portions, unique flavors cooked to perfection, extensive menus easily 100 or more items! Great personal service, very friendly engaging people, fun atmosphere! Who'd think a "side of the road shack", would be such a gem! I would love to try everything on the menu. Seafood, hotdogs, burgers, Greek food, root beer floats, milkshakes, handmade fries, slaw and tartar sauce!...

Delicious!! I had a chocolate malted milkshake for starters. Made perfectly. Then a nice beer battered haddock with hand cut fries, cut right before my eyes!! And a nice homemade tartar sauce to finish it off. The owner John and his trusty assistant Jay were friendly and welcoming. Others with me had the fried clams, and they too were delicious....

Yet again the food was amazing, the clams and haddock were delicious. The fries were also very good. The side of baked beans were really good.
The food was good, but it's super greasy. Not a healthy lunch. But the owner is the nicest guy and was really friendly and welcoming. He was absolutely great. If you're driving through the area you should definitely pull over and pick up lunch. Try the fried lobster bits.
Food was ok, flavors what you would expect for a take out shack. Burger was decent, tater tots tasted of old oil and calamari basket was a disappointment. 7 rings of calamari, no tentacles, and breading tasted odd. Given the lack of options in this area, I would go back for the burger and to try the seafood but it...

Went there because of the rewiews ...... Excellent haddock ... clams over cooked .. shrimp were less than average (they were to perfect to be freshy breaded ..I assume they come frozen pre breaded .. they ran out of them so we only got half the order?) Coleslaw ok .. hand cut fries were a little soggy. I would go...
