My wife and I, and another couple, went to SP last night for dinner. This was our 5th time there and we loved it as much as the other four times. I had the fried clam taco and my wife had the shark. Drinks were excellent too!

We met friends at Shepherd's Pie for dinner last night. We had not been in a while, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The setting is warm, inviting and fun, situated in an older building on the main street. While the menu is not huge (you sometimes have to be weary of huge menus), every dish looks... More

We've been very satisfied with our past experiences at Shepherd's Pie, so went back with a friend during the Toboggan Races to introduce him to the Fried Clam tacos, which we love. Note: other than the 3 tortillas, there is nothing Mexican about them. They are delicious, fresh fried full belly clams and the accompanying sauce is original, a departure... More

Creative menu, with a variety of items. Usually consistent and quite busy. Usually my favorite. I cannot remember what I ordered but I know it was succulent.

I keep trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt. But tonight's experience was my last try. We ordered the clam tacos. The tacos were burned. Our waitress said that they were supposed to be burned because they were grilled. Then she said that the grill was very hot. Really ?!?! To add insult to injury, she commented... More

2 of us had dinner there on a Friday night. We usually prefer to sit at the bar when its an option, and did so here. The service was excellent, and the food was even better. The duck PBnJ was such a hit Friday that we broke our rule of thumb about trying different places each night and decided to... More

Six of us had dinner at Shepherd's Pie this week and it was fantastic! Their signature dish (shepherd's pie) is probably the best you'll ever eat, but I had one of the specials - a lamb burger served atop a curried lentil patty (which I much prefer to a bread roll) and it was superb. Their house wine is not... More

After reading TA reviews, we waited until we arrived in Rockport to eat so that we could try this restaurant. We arrived to find out it does not open until 5 pm. I had very high expectations, but sadly the only thing that met them was the server. He was very good and friendly. The food however was overpriced and... More

We usually dine in one of the many terrific places in Rockland during our annual mid coast visit and just drive by the turnoff to Rockport but read a magazine review of this place. What a find! We made a reservation and even though it was November, a reservation was a good idea as this place is very popular. The... More

My husband and I found the restaurant after a bad experience at a now defunct eatery nearby. I remembered a review in the Boston Globe that the restaurant had just opened. We tried it and have made a point to visit whenever we are in the area. At first, I liked the fish tacos so much I didn't want to... More
