Yummy desserts, sandwiches too expensive

I've had desserts and breakfast sandwiches here before, and loved them. (The $4 breakfast sandwich with free coffee is a great deal and very yummy.) Love the atmosphere and service is usually fast and friendly. I decided to try a sandwich for lunch yesterday, and have to say I was very... read more

Whenever we are in the Camden/Rockport area, we always stop at the 3 Dog Café. First of all, everything in their prepared display case looks fresh and delicious. In fact, everything about the place shouts "clean"! Good variety of salads and custom sandwiches -- just perfect for putting together a picnic lunch to take out to one of the State... More

Only come here for breakfast or get the steak salad. The tea and coffee here is really good. The lobster mac n cheese is just straight up flavorless. Just to note, no matter how old you are, if you're a female, you WILL get hit on by one of the Russian guys.

We had lunch here a few times while on holiday in Rockport a few weeks ago. Their lunch portions are large and delicious. I had the small Cobb salad one day and could not eat it all...it was yummy! Their lobster mac n cheese is also a must have! We enjoyed dining "plein air" on their lovely shady and breezy... More

I have eaten here many times and always come away saying I would never do it again unless I was just getting coffee and a desert. After being out of Maine for 8 years I moved back and went to this café again today for lunch hoping things had changed since it was still in business. I can honestly say... More

A really nice place that is open year round. The service is good, food is fantastic, and the bakery DELICIOUS. I love the atmosphere and everything about this place. Nom nom nom.

My sister placed an order for a cake for her daughters second birthday party. She wanted it ready the morning of so it was fresh. When she called the woman explained that the cake was done, TWO DAYS prior just sitting in the fridge. And the color scheme they did, wasn't what my sister wanted. Awful decorating job, and hello... Three Dogs is a favorite in the mid-coast, and it's easy to see why. The food is very good, the portions are large, and the baked goods are to die for. The coffee is excellent. This is a wonderful place to meet friends for breakfast or lunch, or to retreat to with your laptop to get some work done.

This place is classy. They have great coffee and breakfast pastries. If it's in the afternoon, try their deli soups and sandwiches - then sit down in the gorgeous outside garden and enjoy!

This place really knows how to tickle your tastebuds! From the food, to the coffee- it's a must. Very friendly atmosphere, and comfortable. We will be back next time we are in the area!
