It’s a diner. Seat yourself at a clean table, the menus are already there. Service is efficient, if not always engagingly friendly. Sometimes they’re busy, and just don’t chat, but get right to business - “Did you figure out what you want?” Don’t take it personally, they’ll take good care of you. A broad mix of good home-cooked food. I... More

We stopped here on our way to our accommodation at Bay Leaf Cottage in Lincolnville. We both had fish which was succulent and very fresh and lovely crispy chips washed down by a bottle of blueberry soda. Always a busy place which is quite understandable as it is the perfect small town café.

I've eaten at all kinds of restaurants throughout the U.S., but I have to say that the Rockland Café is one of my all-time favorites. The menu is gigantic, filled with all kinds of choices. They're best-known for anything pertaining to seafood. One of my favorites is a large bowl of their Seafood Chowder. It has the right consistency and... More

May have once been good but our experience was mediocre. This is an old style diner with diner food. Better food at similar prices elsewhere. The lobster stew was runny, the fish cake a limp frisbee. If you must go there order the fresh fish broiled.

Good food - I had the fried haddock sandwich and fries. Slaw was good (no onion). Wife had the fried shrimp. Fish portions were very large but by piling them on the fries, the fries were soaked in grease and soggy. Not the best but OK

The best thing RC had going for it is their prices. Head the calamari basket and thought it was a good appetizer but not s meal. The good is good just not the serving size.

a return visit, with a mixed review....(some items very good, others very bad) Seafood chowder is by far the best, as they claim. The Lobster roll is only average...just not the freshest in taste. Not worth the high price of 16.99. The Fish and Chips is EXCESSIVELY GREASY ...with small one to two inch pieces of fish, over fried in... More

Good chowder, good lobster, reasonable prices and friendly quick service. The place is small and you may have to wait for a table but it's worth the wait.
