Funky House with a Neverending Menu

Make a reservation. This popular spot has no extra room for your surprise drop in with a party of 6. I had a reservation and was promptly seated and handed the tome of a menu. If you can't find something to eat you either just can't decide or are the pickiest eater ever! Casual dining room part... read more

We had previously been for lunch and loved it, and returned for dinner on our next trip to Rockland and were very pleased. Reservations are recommended on Friday evening, and they are happy to oblige. Excellent, friendly wait staff only add to this eclectic chef's culinary specialties. Prices are reasonable and the entrees are quite generous. Good chance you will... More

In funky Rockland-by-the-sea, many folks think Primo's is the be all and end all. WRONG! For a fraction of the price, we had such a great lunch that we decided to return that same night for dinner! How often does THAT happen? I think you could enjoy Cafe Miranda's fresh offerings for two weeks straight and not run out of... More

An eclectic menu in a quaint, cozy setting. Several locals had recommended Cafe Miranda to us. Flavor combinations were wonderful. The new chop was outstanding! My wife had shrimp and grits (also quite good). We will dine here again on any future trips to Rockland.

I ate here three different times and ordered something different each time. Though the atmosphere is quaint and tucked away, it had a lot of issues. The beverages were overpriced and not worth the cost. The appetizers were often good, but the meal itself was unimpressive, and on one occasion, it came out lukewarm. Not what I had in mind... More

Perfect place for quirky Rockland atmosphere. Small and cozy, often crowded, with a creative, innovative and humorous menu. Many tasty, hand made meals and specialties. You can watch food being prepared from the counter. Amazing choices from a tiny kitchen Be sure to visit Elvis's bathroom when there.

What an incredible meal we had at Cafe Miranda! Recommended to us by a local, we snuck in at 1 (they close at 2 on Saturdays) and I am SO glad we made it in time. I will recommend every dish we had: the artfully arranged green salad tossed with good olive oil and fresh cracked pepper; the oven roasted... More

Stopped at this compact restaurant and was bowled over by the extensive brunch and luncheon menus. Very ambitious even for a large restaurant. I had difficulty choosing from among the delicious dishes but finally chose the frittata with ricotta, spinach and Italian sausage. We ordered a side of the home fries. Our frittatas were served with a cut of the... More

I went there Sunday for the first time. I can said I never though that the food can be so good and tasty. And I am no kidding about the ➡️ menu. If you are a fan of Elvis Presley go straight to the bathroom, look like a secret room. 😁

I did not quite understand what they meant at the time, but apparently they put all of the ingredients for your sea food supper into a mini cast iron wok like pan the subject it to searing heat in an oven for a very short time. The result is astonishingly brilliant seafood - chowders and clam bakes. I would go... More
