Varied lunch menu and lunch specials. Gourmet sized lobster rolls with those great skin-on fries and coleslaw. Tables spaced apart so you aren't part of another table's dining life, plus bkgd music is muted so you can have your own conversation. Nice views of the water. Patio deck in nice weather. Quick service. Prices slightly high.

We visited the central Maine coast twice this year. In May we had excellent salads with lobster meat. In July the same meal was prepared with lobster meat in mayonnaise for lobster rolls, not near as good as the sprint meal.

We stopped at Archer's on the Pier after a recommendation from one of the locals. We were not disappointed. It has a great atmosphere. You can dine inside or outside. Beautiful view of the water! It has a casual feel, our waiter wore shorts, some people wore jeans, nice pants etc. Still very nice. We started our meal with the... More

Pricey. Friendly staff. Food was tasty. Drinks were good. Portions were very large. Presentation was not spectacular (not a deal breaker). There was a large group of us. As a result, some dinners were not hot. Steaks were "ok". Good experience. Would go back.

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews and really want to see all local businesses thrive. Having written that though I have to say that my recent dinner at Archer's was the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. Pan Seared Sea Bass with risotto and steamed vegetables was a "special" for the night and is what I ordered. I did... More

This restaurant is on the pier and both indoor and outdoor seating was available. It was very busy so we sat at the bar, and a very nice bartender answered our questions about the area, and was very helpful in planning our trip through New England. The restaurant had excellent seafood, steaks, and a full bar. They even had mulled... More

We had dinner at Archers on the recommendation of our hotel. It was very good. We both had lobster and were pleased with our selection. The cole slaw was wonderful! Extremely courteous and attentive service. Very typical of a small town restaurant and obviously a local Favorite !

Nice view of Rockland Hahbah and Breakwata lighthouse. Food is excellent. We shared Cajun haddock bites and seafood pie. Plenty for both of us.

Started off with oysters on the half shell, a small but good and fresh, I had the whole steamed lobster dinner, 1.5 lb., $28, my the wife the salmon both were very good but I've never had bad lobster prepared in any fashion.

Have dined here twice and enjoyed it every time. I had the oysters Rockafella the 1st time and then the baked stuffed haddock the 2nd time. Like both meals. The place has a nice feel to it. Very pretty setting and service has been very good on both occasions. The servers were attentive and kind.
