Great lunch!

Great fish tacos and onion strings! Well worth the calories, with homemade blueberry pie to top the lunch off!

We had lunch today (5/13/15) at the Brass compass. Huge home made biscuit and the best clam chowder, reasonable priced, super quick, helpful waitress. Located a half block from the light house museum in down town Rockland.

A few years ago on my first visit, I had the much touted Lobster BLT and it was a delicious, expensive sandwich. We returned the other day and we decided to try the more usual lunch-spot fare. "Ordinary" is the best word I can come up with. I had the tasteless "homemade" chicken salad sandwich with the limpest French fries... More

I suppose we called in just before closing (they are breakfast and lunch only) but I still don't think they should be vacuuming around us as we ate. However my haddock and clams were good (French fries were awful, I think I had a batch of odds and ends at the end of the day as they were very brown).... More

Small but cozy place to dine. Reasonably prices and a wide variety of menu items. Friendly staff and a favorite place for locals so that tells you it's a good place.

Rhis is a great place for breakfast or lunch. You can get all the standards ... and much more. Lobster club sandwich is the house specialty. But also try the pies after lunch. There's nothing fancy here, but the food is great.

A good place to get breakfast after an evening of enjoying the many pubs in town. Nothing crazy here... it's hard to screw-up breakfast. Get there early enough and enjoy the sound of some real Maine old timers gossiping of what is going on around town.

I recently ate lunch here at the cafe. I actually split the lobster club sandwich. It was the biggest sandwich ever! I was glad I split it! We also had onion rings that were made fresh and delicious. The food was very tasty and fresh. Loved it!
