Always really good.

Going to Beal's is a tradition for my family. Every summer that we go to Maine, we have to have Beal's. The staff is always smiling and ready to let you taste a "new flavor" for you and then the one scope cone is enough for a regular person.

I had the Blueberry Cheesecake froyo, wow! Amazing flavor, smooth and creamy. I know where I will go again and again! Definitely worth the stop!

Since Beals has such high ratings on TripAdvisor, I was expecting something extraordinary. The service was wonderful and the ice cream was delicious but not enough to make me want to make this my must visit ice cream shop. The variety was good and the shop was very clean. The "cash only" signs were fairly small and I didn't notice... More

Went in the evening and it was DELICIOUS!! I had cookies and cream and cake batter in a a waffle cone and it was so good! The only problem was the extensive amount of ice-cream in the cone made the bottom of the cone wet, so the end broke and it ALL dripped everywhere!

We stopped at Beals after an afternoon of walking around and shopping. It was one of the hottest days that they had seen so far this summer, so we were looking for something to cool us off. Beals has a pretty good selection of ice cream. I opted for the coconut almond bar on a waffle cone. The ice cream... More

A delight to find such a high quality ice cream shop in a high traffic tourist area. The selections are in many ways unique, creative and fresh. What got my attention was the selection of sugar free ice cream. Usually you only find a single flavor available, but, at Beal's there are several sugar free selections. Bravo!

Walk into this ice cream parlor and decided to go in since everything around us was eating ice cream. The line was a little long but it moved fast. We decided on the orange pineapple and pistachios. The portions are really big for the price. They also tasted good.

All homemade ice cream, sorbets and sherberts. Fast friendly service. Typical ice cream store with basic seating. Prices were very reasonable.

Ordered strawberry with chocolate sprinkles. Sounds simple. To start the sprinkles were crunchy, gross. After removing excess sprinkles we tasted the ice cream. It was flavorless. Tasted like cold sugar. Threw it away after two bites. Not good at all. Didn't taste any other flavors, can't speak for those but very disappointed in the strawberry.

Had to snag some ice cream while wandering around Old Port on a gorgeous hot day. The staff was nice and there are plenty of options for anyone's sweet tooth. I had the chocolate peanut butter cup in a dish with hot fudge and peanut butter. Yum!
