Try the Maple Latte!

I never knew maple was big in Maine. I opted to try the Caffe Maple (I dont quite remember the name) when trying out Arabica. It was truly delicious!

I spent the day in downtown Portland, and simply had to try this coffee house when I spotted it. The day was hot and humid, and I really wanted a nice iced coffee. I liked the vibe when I walked through the door. Really cool looking old, wooden tables and lots of interesting art work hanging on the walls. The... More

We had been in maine for about 7 days and could not find a good cup of espresso till we found Arabica coffee. Really nice employees and great atmosphere. Coffee was not bitter which is a big thing for us. Not very acidic anyway. They were not shocked at our 4 shot americana like most places that seem stunned by... More

Was in Portland for two days and spent both mornings here. Great place to kick back or plug in and do some work over breakfast. The lattes were outstanding as were the bagels.

Freshest, most flavorful coffee in Portland. Caramel lattes are amazing, and not too sweet as in most places. Plus it's a nice place to hang out.

Stopped by here while wandering around Portland for the first time and had a very enjoyable caffe caramel while relaxing by a sunny window. The staff here was both efficient and friendly and the crowd seemed to consist of mostly locals getting work done on their laptops. Overall it was a really nice place to step away from the touristy... More

Portland has many good local coffeehouses, so there are many places to choose from, and I do visit a number of them. I'd say that my favorite is this place. Its location on the corner of Free and Cross Streets adjacent to the Old Port is an ideal downtown spot. There's lots of light, and the room is spacious with... More

Around three years ago Arabica three doors down Free St. from their old dark space to new spot on the corner. The new space has big windows in the front and sides and the light streaming in on the brick and wood interior give it a very warm feeling. It's location is about two blocks from the Old Port, but... The best coffee in the western hempishere? I would say YES! We enjoy having a cup or two while waiting for our several pounds of take home. Have never tasted better coffee.
