THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN PORTLAND IS HERE

We really like this place a lot. Its a hole in the wall that you must find! The pastrami is out of this world good, CRAZY. I"m from NY and this pasatrami is better than the best delis there! The soups are unbelievable - made fresh daily and home made...not from a can, thats for sure. The wife... read more

Went on a weekday morning and this place was packed! We ordered our sandwiches and waited about 10 minutes for them to be done. There was no real beverage menu which was confusing. After ordering we saw a little paper sign that said they had a few other options. We got iced coffee (average) and I ordered the steak, egg... More

Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had...anywhere. Great coffee too. Late morning weekday bite assured there was no crowd and that I could get a seat at the select few tables or countertop available. Funky. But delicious and inexpensive....off the beaten track in the West End , but I was staying with friends who live just a block away on... More

Staff was friendly and the Maple Prosciutto Bagel was VERY good. Coffee: I recommend the Atlantic brew.

I had just come from the breakfast sandwich mecca of New York City, so I wasn't sure what to expect besides maybe your standard above grade Dunkin' Donuts style egg and cheese, on a plain bagel, but I was proven wrong. They have some excellent coffee from Coffee By Design and some really funky breakfast combos. Their #7 goes right... More

Terrific egg and cheese sandwiches. Be prepared to wait on the weekends as it is a favorite West End spot. Not much seating - more of a take it and go kind of place.

This is a tiny little neighborhood cafe that is well worth searching out. The cashier was civil and polite enough. The wait for our sandwiches (the #1 and #2 on the menu) was a bit lengthy (I think there was a significant to-go order ahead of us), but they were worth the wait. The sandwiches were entirely different in character,... More

Great food, wide selection of wines and beers. Set up more for take out, but has a few tables for eat in. Nice selection of items and breakfast all day.

There is no shortage of fabulous places to eat in Portland, but if you want a quick, but delicious bite, Ohno is an excellent choice. I've visited this spot twice and have been very happy. Great sandwiches, wine, and beer selection. There are a few tables, but I have always done take out. You can't go wrong wither way. The... More

There's little else I can say about it. The place and "service" (there's none, just the guys behind the counter) are ok. But who cares? This is not a place to go have a romantic dinner or fancy restaurant. This place is to go, get something to eat, get out. Having said that, I repeat, the food (sandwiches, bagels, etc.)... More
