I have been to Local 188 several times, but have not yet a chance to dine there. We usually end up at 188 before or after a concert and find it is a perfect spot to have a drink. The bar staff has always been friendly and very knowledgeable. They take great care in their drink ingredients and keep things... More

We visited our son in Portland and he suggested this restaurant. It was excellent. Everything was great. Especially liked the Fluke, Short Ribs, Ceviche, and Chocolate torte with chili.

Husband and I were hopping through Portland and unfortunately we got here after Sunday brunch and before dinner. They do not serve any food during this time. The atmosphere was nice enough and we'll probably be back because the menu looks promising.

My husband and I had come here two years ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I was greatly impressed with their food then. It was so fresh and delicious. Also the cocktails and incredible. On this last trip, we were having a last hurrah before our baby comes. This was the best dining experience I had had since the... More

Wonderful brunch place. Delicious cucumber vodka Bloody Mary's. Smoke salmon scramble blew me away - really fresh ingredients. Wife ordered French Toast with delicious homemade scrapple. Service was not great but the food and drinks more than made up for it.

I came here for brunch and got the huevos rancheros which were excellent. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy and he said they were ok (he's extra picky as he is from the south). We were seated right away but the service after that wasn't great and the restaurant was not that busy. It took about 45 minutes after... More

Very cozy place. The breakfast was outstanding....takes a bit so dont go if you need to be somewhere quick. A nice selection of different bloodys. My wife had the salmon scramble and said she would eat that if she ever went back

They would have gotten 5 stars, but they do not have wheat bread... What restaurant does not have wheat bread??? Anyway, the breakfast was outstanding! They do not try to move you through very fast, which is ok as long as you are not in a rush. Would highly recommend!

First for brunch (7 days a week - way cool), then for dinner. Brunch had a GREAT biscuits and gravy - spicy sausage, which I loved. Great atmosphere. Busy. Second for dinner a night or two later - paella - very nice; excellent hummus - seemed lemony and garicky, on flatbread; Partner didn't exactly know what he was ordering when... More
