Just what the reviews led me to expect. Small, felt like a neighborhood place. Service was excellent. Food was very good. Not a place I would rave about but I would very definitely go back in a flash. Excellent combination of quality and price.

The eggplant parmesan was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. The wine selection was wonderful. A perfect night out. Don't forget to make a reservation!

I have been here before and had a great experience but after tonight I will never go back! I don't know what was worse the fact there was a GIANT RAT dining next to us on the back patio or that we were never approached by a manger after we could not finish our meal outside. The entire situation was... More

We were in Portland for two nights and loved this place so much we had both of our dinner here. The restaurant is two blocks from our hotel which also made it very convenient. It is your place to go neighborhood restaurant. The chicken marsala is to die for, had it both nights. The menu changes but I think it... More

The restaurant is in a residential area of Portland. It has two eating sections, you walk through the kitchen to get back section. We were fine with that. Pretty cool, actually, though I think some people may be put out. The front section was very noisy on a Saturday night. Not very good acoustics. The back section a little less... More

We love this local eatery with fresh, yummy food and a helpful staff. The dinner was amazing - although plan on sitting and chatting between courses - by design to make it a more intimate experience.

The food was delicious, but staff need education on cleanliness. I watched one worker (maybe a hostess) do multiple tasks such as run food, bus/clean tables, and deliver menus. Then, she wiped her hands on the back of her pants and fiddled with her hair before slicing bread for diners. Not once did she wash her hands or wear gloves... More

I visit with my family for Easter Sunday Breakfast. There were 4 adults and 2 children (4 and 2). We were there when they opened. A small crowd was waiting. Everyone was in and seated within minutes of the doors opening. Food is very good and portions are large. Service was very good. Prices are reasonable. They take reservations and... More

The owner of the B&B we were staying at told us about this restaurant. It's a great, cozy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had a great experience all around. The food was out of this world. Best in portland, which is saying a lot!! We got the paella, the mussels, and the beat appetizer. So amazing!!! Every bite... More
