So much fun, I wanted to order everything on the menu! From some of the best fries around to the undisputed best milkshakes, Duckfat is the place for everyone. Their small local menu contains items such as tomato and cheese paninis to true Canadian-styled poutine! But best of all are the milkshakes made from Brunswick's own Gelato Fiasco. I can... More

I've been going to Duckfat for six years now, and even though the lines are longer, the food has always been incredibly consistent and delicious. I'll still keep coming here every time I visit Portland.

Visited Duckfat on 5/21/15 for a late lunch before going to Shipyard for their "tour". My husband had the pork belly panini & I the brussel spouts. We shared an order of poutine. Everything was excellent. Of all the places we've been to in Portland this was my husbands fav. I'm partial to lobster or it would be mine as... More

If you like duck confit, you must try the duck confit panini paired with their duck fat Belgian fries. And since we weren't being indulgent enough, we also got the duckfat milkshake. For health's sake, we shared it, but everything was delicious down to the last bite/drop. I give this place 10 out of 10 quacks!

This is a great casual place for a light meal. A must have is the poutine - cheese curds with great Belgian style fries and gravy. Originally a French Canadian dish, it's wonderful. They also have dipping sauces for the regular fries. Duck confit is fabulous. One in our group had a panini and really liked it. The fries are... More

We got to Duckfat just as they opened following a big snow storm and still had to wait for a table. This place is hugely popular but very small. Food was great! Service was friendly!

I read a number of reviews about the place. The food was good...but nothing I would rave about. The place crowded which made it hard to have a conversation. I would go back with a group but not a place to go and just get caught up with a friend.

I can not come to Portland without going to this restaurant. Over the years it has proven itself to always be great. This recent visit was no exception. Fries are crisp, not and amazing. The dipping sauces great, and the duck confit panini amazing. A must visit.

Great sandwiches, amazing fries and dipping sauces! Definitely worth a lunchtime visit. Can be hard to find a seat in this small restaurant, but there's always takeaway!
