Wow ! What a great little spot. Very crowded and for good reason - Duck Fat servers up some of the most tasty and innovative Panini around, along with the most tasty french fries accompanied by a wide array of homemade dipping sauces. And of course, some mighty fine Poutine as well ! Great place for lunch.

All I can say is that it's a good thing I don't live in Portland...we spent two days basically eating our way around the city, and Duckfat was highly recommended by our hotel staff. They specifically mentioned the poutine, and since trying it for the first time on a recent trip to Toronto, I have been kind of...hooked. So, off... More

When I was planning to visit the Portland area this was the restaurant that literally everyone recommended, so I had very high expectations going in. I was surprised to find how tiny it was when I came inside. Mostly counter seating and stools with just two tables. It was a good thing I came mid-afternoon in January - I still... More

And everything else on the menu that you have room for! Horseradish mayo was terrific, Brussels sprouts were out of this world! We split the lamb panini which was slathered in a tomato and mint-ricotta spread. Very tasty! Small selection of draft but they were very good! Small menu, small place but worth the wait. We had to wait 15... More

My family just had dinner there to celebrate my birthday and it was a great experience. Starting off your meal with cool French Fry combos is an unique way to start out a dining experience! All courses were delicious and we even had room for their awesome shakes! I would recommend splitting a couple order of fries (Poutine my favorite)... More

We had a long wait, but the food was delicious and they didn't rush you. Try the famous fries, even if you get a small. The soups were great, nice beer & wine selection. Excellent pannini.

Lunch with a 40 minute wait, but worth it. Menu was so different with many choices that we wanted to try. Ended up with too much food, but it was excellent. Meatloaf sandwich was great!
