Really cosy and delicious food

Great service, food and value. Great for people of all ages - just sometimes hard to get a seat but worth the wait

What a great little restaurant! We had such a great waiter! There was no question about the menu that he couldn't answer. I loved his enthusiasm! We had poutine, our first experience with it, and paninis. All were fantastic! We had been told it was a bit pricy, but I didn't find it that way. If I lived in Portland... More

ohhhh, and truffled ketchup!! We split a panini, they are quite large, and a small fry. Both delicious, but will order a large fry next time! We arrived just before the 11 am opening and were the first of about 6 parties when the doors opened. Duckfat is very popular, deservedly so, so arrive early or expect to wait a... More

As you can tell from previous reviews, this place is great. From the soups to the poutine to the duck confit panini - everything was delicious. One point I would add to all the positive accolades is that this is a 'great value' for Portland eats - meaning, for three apps and a sandwich our meal came to less than... More

Just get the fries, and indulge in the sauces, you will know why once you do! They come hot and crispy and stay that way-- so remarkable.

The original milkshake was wonderful!!! The inside is very small but cozy and cute. Very clean and the staff was friendly. The French fries our outstanding! The sauces are all delicious and the sandwiches are killer! We got an order of the donuts too - so sweet & savory, and the caramel sauce was just the right texture and not... More

Chef Rob Evans was in house trying some new items out for the menu and I am not surprised they have stuck. The soup, I don't care which one, is always good - I have had the tomato soup countless times and it never disappoints but I had the bean and sausage soup this time. REALLY good. The pork belly... This place is always busy and there is often a wait (though they have those flashy, buzzer thingys, so you can wander around within a block radius - if so, go check out Miccuci's Italian grocery!) Duckfat offers a great selection of local beer and french fries and poutine that is TO DIE FOR! Seriously, you cannot come to Portland... More

First of all, no matter what, don't skip the fries. Second of all, there's nothing on their menu that has ever disappointed me. I make a point of introducing this place to anyone who's never been!
