This is a great spot to grab lunch in the Old Port. The food was delicious and the service is great! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The place is extremely popular so be prepared to wait, even when you have a reservation. The upside is that the restaurant is in an area filled with shops so you can duck in and out of stores while waiting for a table. We sat on the rooftop and happily waited until one was available. We did the right thing.... More
We had a delicious breakfast here during a quick trip to Maine - sought it out due to it's organic food. Our god son was with us, and he was thrilled with the option of a triple burger for breakfast, with grass fed beef, no less. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area, which overlooks the waterfront. Wait staff was... More
Sadly, these reviews are spot on. We ate here on a Groupon. First problem...we stood there for 7 minutes before being acknowledged. Off to a bad start. Decor (we ate downstairs) was nothing exciting, and while the rest room was clean enough, during the short walk there things seemed dirty. The service picked up after the initial lack of greeting... Loved my french onion soup and grilled salmon with quinoa! A restaurant that understands the importance of eating healthy - with interesting choices and generous portions. Service was a bit slow for middle of a Friday afternoon, but apparently they were understaffed that day. Still, thanks for a great meal!
In bullets: -Waitstaff (except for Nick) seemed pretty unhappy. -Food was just ok. My fish and chips were good but all of the bread I saw coming out of the kitchen was slightly burnt. -There's a trash can of old food from customer's plates in the hall as you go to the restroom. -I could see a bakery tray of... Unfortunately, most of the rest of our experience there was pretty mediocre. Our server, Nick, was great, but the rest of the staff was a... More
Since the people were nice, but both seafood dishes we ordered were lousy. It's not good when the waiter comes back to ask you how you want your salmon and after saying medium it arrives burnt. The special fish was almost inedible. The kids food was better. Our son's Fish & Chips was good (especially the fries) and the lobster... More
