Had Easter brunch at five fifty five, amazing. Food was wonderful, and creative. Staff was friendly, and the pace of the meal was so relaxing. It was terrific. Will most assuredly go back to try dinner. can't wait!

It was nice that we could order the regular menu or the bar menu while seated in the bar. We were dressed casually, shorts etc. so we opted to sit in the bar. Two of us had the tasting menu and really enjoyed it. You choose five courses for $65 or the chef's choices for $85. Portions were just right... More

My first time I went was about a year ago for a couples dinner, and was extremely impressed. I ordered tasting menu and couldn't find a single flaw in the entire meal or evening, The waiter was very personable and didn't act like a robot. The most recent time I ate there was about two months ago and it again... More

I had mushroom soup to start. Very bland. Then salmon. Very good. Desserts for everyone drew raves. Wife also had salmon. Liked it a lot. Likewise the greens salad. Daughter had strip loin. Excellent. Others had steak tartare, ahi tuna. All very good. So... It's expensive for what you get. Portions small. You get a "deal" pricewise if you order... More

Likes: quality ingredients, diverse & innovative food preparation, wonderful wine pairings with Chef's menu, attentive service, intimate atmosphere. Meh: location a longish walk from quaint old port

Had a lovely dinner at 555. The restaurant came highly recommended and rightfully so. Portions are on the smaller side so I would definitely get a starter. The vegetarian Chefs Choice was a gamble but it paid off with a beautiful looking and tasting dish.

Just had a lovely meal here with a friend from out of town. We found the menu lovely but we're expecting a bit more variety. The menu is designed for a tasting menu..a la carte is a bit limited and there were no specials. We felt the tasting menu was more than we wanted and a la carte was somewhat... More

This restaurant really hit the mark with their delightful Easter brunch. For $35/pp, there were three choices for the starter (we had the wonderful apple and root vegetable soup, but there was a cinnamon bun and a yogurt parfait), the main course (salmon, lamb, or lobster benedict) and dessert (cheese, bread pudding, and something else...). We started the meal with... More
