Bruno's is a casual family run restaurant serving everything from steak sandwiches to homemade pastas. Customers can enjoy lunch or dinner in our dining room with an open kitchen, or you can also choose from our full menu in our tavern side complete with 10 TV's and varied seating. Outside seating is available on our deck or newly built patio. We also have a new banquet room that can accomidate anything from weddings to business meetings; outside catering is available too. Bruno's has been serving the people of greater Portland for over 30 years. We attribute most of our success to our strong flow of regular customers who return week after week to get the same excellent service and delicious food as their last visit.

If you want great Italian in Portland...

Bruno's is our go to at least once a week. I am originally from NY where great Italian food is a staple. Bruno's can hold their own against some of my back home favorites. They have a decent wing special Mon-Tues and many homemade items! One of our favorite apps is the arancini. Right now they... read more

I travel to Maine frequently and I always dine at Bruno's. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, and the service is always superior. Full menu (over 30 entrees), with homemade appetizers, soups and desserts. The adjacent bar is a perfect alternative if you don't feel like a sit-down dinner. It's nice to have the owner on-site too. Highly recommended!

Nice ambiance, great service, and best of all Great Food. When we want Italian in Portland we find it hard to not go to Bruno's even though there are many great Italian restaurants in Portland. No special menu items, just plain good 'ole Italian food. We tend to order from their appetizer menu because we don't need as much to... More

Used to love this restaurant, but the last time there, we were sadly disappointed. The problem was with my meal. Ordered the eggplant parmesan...waited 30 minutes, which is fine for fresh and hot food...but it was barely warm...the ziti macaroni was cold and stuck together...not even the sauce was hot. The worst part was the lukewarm eggplant...One tiny square piece.... More

Bruno's is a true family restaurant serving very good Italian food. The pasta fazoil (SP?) is excellent!

Visited Bruno's on a whim as we were starving and one of us noticed Bruno's as we were sitting at a red light. It was a Friday and we were returning from a day of shopping and sightseeing and had missed eating lunch. We arrived after 4 pm and the place was not too busy yet. I used the bathroom... More

Good neighborhood restaurant with friendly efficient service and good food. A good place to get a quick, satisfying meal but not a dining "experience". We will go back.

Went there last night, had the "Buffalo Wings" they are the typical frozen wings that are breaded with spicy breading that you find at pizza joints all around. Nothing special, and not worth it. We also had the Dominic's Special Grilled chicken, fontinella cheese and pepperoncinis. It was a very good sandwich!! Had a very soft roll, super tender chicken... More

This is definitely a neighborhood restaurant as it is off the beaten path for most tourists. We wanted Italian food for dinner from a locally owned restaurant. We weren't disappointed. Salads were fresh and filling. My travel companion especially liked the poppyseed dressing. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, pasta with Vodka sauce and chicken marsala. Food was great. My biggest... More

We were in Portland for Cheverus HS Graduation...and this is THE place to go. Meal was good. Lasagne was a bit of a disappointment though - not many layers & kind of mushy filling. Scallops - great...salads fresh..salmon good. Very nice place. Certainly would return.
