Description: Bruno's is a casual family run restaurant serving everything from steak sandwiches to homemade pastas. Customers can enjoy lunch or dinner in our dining room with an open kitchen, or you can also choose from our full menu in our tavern side complete with 10 TV's and varied seating. Outside seating is available on our deck or newly built patio. We also have a new banquet room that can accomidate anything from weddings to business meetings; outside catering is available too. Bruno's has been serving the people of greater Portland for over 30 years. We attribute most of our success to our strong flow of regular customers who return week after week to get the same excellent service and delicious food as their last visit.

Bruno's is a true family restaurant serving very good Italian food. The pasta fazoil (SP?) is excellent!

Visited Bruno's on a whim as we were starving and one of us noticed Bruno's as we were sitting at a red light. It was a Friday and we were returning from a day of shopping and sightseeing and had missed eating lunch. We arrived after 4 pm and the place was not too busy yet. I used the bathroom... More

Good neighborhood restaurant with friendly efficient service and good food. A good place to get a quick, satisfying meal but not a dining "experience". We will go back.

Went there last night, had the "Buffalo Wings" they are the typical frozen wings that are breaded with spicy breading that you find at pizza joints all around. Nothing special, and not worth it. We also had the Dominic's Special Grilled chicken, fontinella cheese and pepperoncinis. It was a very good sandwich!! Had a very soft roll, super tender chicken... More

This is definitely a neighborhood restaurant as it is off the beaten path for most tourists. We wanted Italian food for dinner from a locally owned restaurant. We weren't disappointed. Salads were fresh and filling. My travel companion especially liked the poppyseed dressing. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, pasta with Vodka sauce and chicken marsala. Food was great. My biggest... More

We were in Portland for Cheverus HS Graduation...and this is THE place to go. Meal was good. Lasagne was a bit of a disappointment though - not many layers & kind of mushy filling. Scallops - great...salads fresh..salmon good. Very nice place. Certainly would return.

Apps of fried mozzarella and cheesy garlic bread was yummy. Meals varied from lasagna, shrimp scampi, chicken and eggplant pram, and pulled pork sandwich w zucchini... More

Food and service were terrible. I would say that going to McDonald's across the street would be some great advice to follow. I have never met such a rude staff never mind the price of the quality of the food.

I would like to find out where Dennis P gets his mold, because if mold tastes like Bruno's veal parm, count me in. This is the first review I have ever read, or heard, that complains about Bruno's veal. Without a doubt, this is the best veal parm available in Portland since the Village Cafe closed several years ago. Dennis... More

I am a former waitress at Bruno's and now that I am no longer an employee, I can give an HONEST opinion. It is the best restaurant in Portland NO QUESTION. Almost every dish is house made, the restaurant is clean and the food is fresh.. You will never meet a more loving, caring and respectful family then the Napolitanos.... More
