Has almost the right stuff, but head down the street for better coffee.

Why is there a split between places that serve great coffee and places that serve traditional eggs and toast? It's not so hard to make decent coffee. You do need to put enough coffee in the filters however. For this reviewer , bad coffee is a fatal flaw at a restaurant at 8AM. The toast, hash... read more

Marcy's was recommended to us by a hotel employee where we were staying and we ended up eating breakfast/lunch there three times. It's an old-fashioned diner dating back to the 40's with wonderful food at very reasonable prices. It's packed with 'locals' which is always a good sign and Sean our waiter was terrific. As someone noted, it is cash... More

Marcy's was such a wonderful place to stop for a delicious, filling breakfast. The prices were reasonable and the service was very friendly. The portions were great for the price as well. The only reason I didn't feel I could give Marcy's a 5-star review is because they're cash-only. Thankfully we had cash on hand, but it could have made... More

Breakfast was great! Small diner with great service. Tried a snicker doodle muffin. It was homemade, Hugh and good. Food was delivered piping hot. Will return and try the lunch menu. Worth another visit.

Marcy's was recommended by one of the maids at our hotel. Funky little spot with great service and a little bit of everything for breakfast. Cinnamon raisin French toast was superb. Such a nice vibe in there not snotty or fancy.

We enjoyed a breakfast/brunch at Marcy's and it was terrific. Sitting at the counter was perfect and just so enjoyable. The long line of people waiting moved as predicted and we can't imagine any place better for a weekend breakfast. We left with some extra home made muffins that we enjoyed for the rest of the day. We were visiting... More

We had a great experience here, the food was excellent and the service was better. We instantly became 'one of the locals'. Going back today actually ;)

This little place was a short walk from our old port hotel. There's counter seating and booth seating. It's a small place that seems to be known for their home made muffins. We were there the last day before a 6 week vacation. I chose the Dealer's Choice. Let the server know if you like savory and/or sweet, what are... More

My wife and I enjoyed breakfast here on Saturday December 27. We walked here from the Westin hoping for a casual, hearty breakfast with local folks. We found Marcy's easily at Oak and Free Street. Marcy's is small and cozy and we were welcomed immediately to seats at the bar. This was a great opportunity to interact with folks working... More
