I see that some people don't like the lobster roll because it doesn't have mayo but that's just why I love it. It's lobster meat, drizzled with a little melted butter and served in a grilled hot dog roll - delicious. I ate here with a party of 7. Everyone enjoyed their food - ranging from salad to a "sea... What can be better than a boiled lobster dinner (or a delicious chicken, avocado & cheddar cheese wrap if you are the land lubber in the group), sitting outside at sunset having wine/beer with views of boats coming into their slips, planes in final approach and live music. I live in the Portland area and had never been but this will... More

One of many places in Old Port section of Portland. Great outdoor seating overlooking the water and boat slips. Lobster roll is picked from a one poind lobster, rather than a selection variety from a number of different lobsters. I guess that means you get meat from two claws and tail in each roll. (I just had one). Accompanying cole... More

GREATLY DISAPPOINTED BY FOOD!!! Read reviews and was told by a Maine local it has the best lobster roll around, so decided to make it the last stop on a mini lobster roll tour that included Bite Into Maine and Scarborough Fish and Lobster... Started with an order of fried calamari and some chowder with some beers. Calamari was cold... More

I loved ordering my food and going outside and eating on the docks. The atmosphere is fun and the scenery is amazing!

Whenever we're in Portland we always stop for lunch. Just beware if there is a cruise ship in port there will be a lot of people there so you want to plan a time accordingly. This year for some reason though we waited almost a half hour before getting our food and in the past it's always been a lot... More

You can't be in Portland without eating at the Portland Lobster Co. The food is always tasty and well prepared. You order inside and find a table (high top, picnic, or counter top outside). There are a few tables inside. Most of the picnic tables are covered or have a beach umbrella for shade. They have a fairly good wine... More

We passed by this place poking around the Old Port area. Thinking it might be a bit touristy, we were pleasantly surprised the food was great, and the prices reasonable. I got a terrific lobster roll, that wasn't made with mayo at all, just lobster meat and a bit of butter on a roll with a very green lettuce leaf... More

Best lobster roll I've ever had. Perfectly toasted bun, and the lobster was not over coated with stuff... was fresh, cold, and tasted amazing.

This is a small building on the docks which serves primarily seafood. You order inside for either carry out or they have picnic tables in the back under tents, there is also a bar in the back. I had a lobster roll with melted butter, different from the mayo lobster rolls served elsewhere. After placing your order, they give you... More
