Good food. food is good, view is better, Lobster roll was good. But to be honest a lobster roll is served in every Portland restaurant,

Going to this establishment requires LONG waits. Don't get me wrong, the ambience is great and the food is good you just have to wait extended times to get your food. It is a busy place so I understand having to wait but when I got my food it was slightly cooled. I brought my lobster from the Lucky Catch... More

My husband and I were on a business trip in Portland and had to have lobster while we were there. Where else to try than the Portland Lobster Co? We dined in quite a few restaurants and it seemed to be the same, though to us the way it was ran was very unusual. Upon arriving we were told it... More

It may be controversial, but to me the best lobster roll is warm, with butter. No mayo please. So I like this roll a lot. The lobster mac n cheese has nice chunks of lobster. My friend really liked it, but I found the béchamel too sharp for my taste. You know what they say about opinions... All in all,... More

About 13 of us (adults and kids) spent the better part of mid day ducking in and out of the PLC used as our home base. Beer selection is great. Food was reasonably priced and fresh, and the picnic table set up in the rear allowed us to rotate our party through one or two tables throughout the afternoon. I... More

Along with great food the place is a great hangout for tourists and locals alike. The food and the band kept everyone happy. Try the Lobster Rolls!

Avoid this tourist trap. Employees not friendly, self serve, and no music playing in seating area. It was like the people there didn't want us there.

1. 50 minute wait was told 20. After 40 minutes I went to check with window pick up area and they said it was a 30 minute wait. I told them I was told 20 minutes when ordering. He apologized. 1a. Guys in kitchen very crammed, no hair nets or caps. Just a bunch of kids, it was a nightmare... More

Tasty Lobster roll! Great quick stop for lunch off the wharf downtown. Great casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice outdoor covered seating area. Would definitely go back.

I had a delicious lobster roll, unfortunately we had to wait a really long time for it. We were lucky enough to find some seating on the deck behind the restaurant with a great view, but had to stalk a couple that was finishing up their meal to get them. We went back later and had a few drinks on... More
