Every year when we come up to Maine to visit family we stop in Portland's water front to walk a little and eat some seafood. The food here is good, and you can sit outside over looking the harbor and watch boats come in and out. Pricing is good and the staff is very friendly.. Keep in mind there is... More

Enjoy your lobster, fried shrimp with a locally brewed beer during the whole summer at Portland lobster! One of the favorite place.

Having lived in Portland for 7 years, I like to find that one place that I know I can go to on a nice summer day, have a few drinks, listen to music, and enjoy some food. Portland Lobster Co. is all of these things. The atmosphere is very laid back. There is an indoor restaurant part, but the place... More

What a fantastic place. My husband and I visit Portland every year and finally made the trip to PLco. Super fresh food, so many options, great beer, and you can even catch some live music! Not a lot of seating so be prepared to have one person scout out a table while the other orders the food. Also a great... More

Excellent lobster meal. Couldn't get any fresher. Place a bit chaotic but that adds to the ambience. No server, just place your order and wait to collect once cooked.

After many wonderful lobster rolls on our vacation in Boston and up the Maine Coast, I needed a hot lobster dinner and we dropped in Portland Lobster Co, in Portland, ME. What a treat, a 1-1/2 lb lobster dinner w/baked potato and corn on the cob was maybe $23. It was perfectly cooked, tail and claws were loaded with delicious... More

I went here on a Friday night during happy hour. There was a live band by the bar. Had a local brew and a lobster roll. Seating was at a premium.

Next to the ferry terminal, we had wonderful lobster roll and local craft beer. The lobster was done to perfection!

For me, there really is only one reason to go here - to eviscerate and devour a FRESH Maine Lobster! The Lobster is fantastic and the price is hard to beat. You get a classic New England Lobster dinner - boiled lobster with corn on the cob. Lobster roll is also great. Really, you can't go wrong. It can get... More

Visited here mid October. We were only in Portland for 1 night, and couldn't decide where to eat. We heard the live music, so that made the decision for us. It is located right on the bay, the hut where you order your food, does not look the best, DO NOT let this put you off. We had lobster rolls,... More
