Good lobster rolls but pricey

You stand in line to order here and then get called to the window to pick up your food. They do have outdoor seating under a large tent and some tables inside. The lobster rolls were really good but at $17 each, I'd much rather make the drive to Shain's of Maine in Sanford and pay $5.99 each.

I read somewhere that this place was the best in Old Portland for Lobster Rolls, but I found them to be small (for $18) tough & tasteless. My wife enjoyed the crab roll, but the lobster was pretty ho-hum blah, tough, tasteless and expensive. We found excellent Lobster Rolls at Geno's Chowder in Portsmouth, NH, They were also expensive, but... More

My son and I stopped here on the way to Waterville ME after too many hours in the car. There wasn't anywhere to park other than a lot across the street (8 dollars). Music was blaring outside and there seemed to be a festive vibe outside. The evening air was cool and we were pretty hungry. The lighting inside the... More

LOBSTER! LIVE MUSIC! DRAUGHT BEER! Outdoors on the dock. Picnic tables, paper plates, draught beer! Expensive? Really? Give me a break, it's cheaper than red lobster!

The food was delicious, wide selection. The bar area was awesome too, Went on the weekend and had live music. Also, did the Lucky Catch Cruise where you could pick your lobster after the cruise and take it over here to have it cooked and plated with a full dinner meal!

One of the nicest places to stop along the pier in Portland. You always get friendly service, dogs are welcome and the beer and live music can't be beat. When I go I always have their lobster roll which is fresh, on a good bun and a great portion of fries. They have the best coleslaw too! My husband always... More

We stopped here for an early dinner, and were disappointed . Lobster roll, Allagash Dark beer, onion rings, fries and clam chowder were ordered at the counter, and we found a seat inside due to the cool breeze outside...very nice booth. (Seating outside was great with a nice view of the pier. ) Beer was cold and excellent, but the... More

I've never liked lobster. To me, it has always been rubbery and fishy tasting. This was the best lobster I've ever eaten. It tasted nothing like what I expected. It was delicate and almost similar in texture and taste to maybe a big hunk of crab. It was so wonderful I wanted two lobster rolls. The best part was the... More

I am not new to Maine or it's seafood. So when I say that this place is not the stop for good lobster or fried clams you can trust me. We ordered $33.46 worth of lunch and could only enjoy the fry's. The lobster roll was small, expensive, chewy, and tasteless. The whole clams had a very tough tip on... More
