Lobster rolls were great for the lunch we had there along with some Chowda! We then came back for some lobster for dinner on another day. It was delicious and the atmosphere was great witha live band.

First stop to eat while I was there, and I love it. Good food, outdoor sitting and live music all day. Very good prices and service is great. Prices are good. They have nice variety of beers and wine. Absolutely is a go back place

My husband and I visited Portland as a cruise stop and had lunch at the Portland Lobster Co. It is right on the harbor with a good view. I had the most delicious clam chowder I have ever tasted and my husband ate the lobster roll which was wonderful. It is served in folded Texas toast type bread, so the... More

We were in Portland for the long weekend. We ate lunch here everyday. I don't understand the negative comments for this place. I am glad I did NOT listen to any of them. We ate everything from the cheddar and crab wrap to lobster to clam chowder to fried shrimp to lobster rolls. There was not one thing that I... More

My son and I got the lobster roll at the Portland Lobster Company. The roll was full of lobster, but we didn't realize it was not made with a mayo base. It was a little dry,but we put our coleslaw on it, all was good. My daugther-in-law had the lobster chowder and crab cakes . Had a taste and they we... More

I ordered the lobster roll because it's all people raved about, maybe I should've read farther. Didn't know they served it cold ( which didn't matter to me), but the roll and meat was plain tasting and fries were easily old...

Did some research in search of a great lobster roll. Portland Lobster came highly-recommended. It IS a bit touristy, but we were able to sit outside (probably last day that could be done until Spring). The lobster roll isn't coated with mayo, it's all about the lobster, and there's a lot in there. Scallop roll was excellent, 6 large, perfectly... More

Had some of the freshest fish & chips that I've ever eaten. Marvelous! I just wish that we had more time and I was a bit more hungry for they have a menu to satisfy your needs.

Outdoor seating with a heated tent. Live band. Good variety of beers on tap and fresh lobster brought in twice a day. Doesn't get any better.
