Great Breakfast Sandwiches

Friendly staff, good sandwiches. Unfortunately, this location is closed on weekends. Would've loved to have had one of their sandwiches for the road today!

Have been a faithful customer of The Crooked Mile in the Old Port for many years. The menu has shrunk, the prices have gone up and the quality of the food has gone down - unfortunately. For example: I had a garden salad with grilled chicken. There were probably about 3 small slices of chicken, and a whole lot of... More

We stayed at the Regency, and needed a place for a quick breakfast - we were directed to the Crooked Mile. It is such a diamond in the rough - great spot for a quick bite, or a coffee and a long chat! The food was very good, and the staff were attentive. If I lived in Portland - this... More

I've been here many times, though it has been awhile. On this occasion, I came here with a friend who was up visiting from Florida. We were looking for a quiet coffee spot to get off our feet and sit to have a cup of..... and warm up on a cool day. This was the perfect choice. It was very... More

This spot is excellent for local coffee. We stayed next door at The Regency and found the location convenient with a wide selection of flavors. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The whole experience was superior to what you get at the chain around the block (and less expensive too). I highly recommend.

off the beaten path and very good. The Old Port as well as Portland is highly overrated and despite its food reputation it is a difficult place to find a nice lunch place. This place is very good and is not easy to find which is good.

Was pretty hungry when we checked into the Regency and it was recommended by the young man who parked my car. It turned out that we had a great tuna salad and a pleasant experience for lunch. It was very quick and tasty!

Great selection of sandwiches and salads. I liked the beet salad with chicken and raspberry vinaigrette.

We went to the Crooked Mile for lunch last week and was very pleased. The sandwich and salad selection is varied and not the same old sandwiches you will find elsewhere. They get very busy during the weekday lunch time, but the wait is minimal. I had the turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato on 12 grain bread. Everything is made... More

We had great egg and cheese sandwiches and really good coffee to go on our way out of town, but the whole menu looked good!! A nice room to sit in, too.
