We stayed at the hotel and went down the bar several days. We helpful bartenders and the food was very tasty.

A must each time we are in Portland! In the evening it can fill pretty fast but if you are on vacation and want a place to chill in the afternoon, then this is the place for you! It is low lit and quiet with an old pub feel. The staff are attentive and very charming and will strike up... More

Until the crowd came, then it was a bit overwhelmingly loud. Delicious apps - they had a half price special, so even better! Fantastic drinks and good menu.

The Armory Lounge has always had a reputation in Portland for being an adult venue with the atmosphere quiet and dark with comfortable tables and chairs. We have been here several times before and the lounge has been full or empty but always has a quiet, respectable atmosphere. My husband and I visited last night and was shocked by the... More

We used to love this place for dinner w/in the Portland Regency, but on our last visit the quality of the food had definitely declined. It's definitely your average pub quality now. The bartenders are great though, and the drinks creative!

Located in the historic Regency Portland hotel, they offer various alcoholic drinks, live entertainment and light eats. It appears to be a very popular hangout with the locals and tourist alike. A very pleasant pub atmosphere convenient to downtown hotels and tourist areas.

Okay so the margarita wasn't good, clam chowder okay, and fish and chips not good, atmosphere much more lounge than restaurant....BUT their burger is the best my husband and I have had! Made from local meat. Outstanding. Next time we're in Portland we'll go just for the burger!

Totally disappointed, but the food has declined and the ditzy servers (which were always part of the charm of this laid back basement lounge that I loved in fall and winter) have combined to a point where we've been sorely disappointed in our last few visits (as laid out more in depth in my review of the Regency). When we... More

By the time we had checked into the Portland Regency Hotel, hungry at three-thirty because we had not eaten since an early breakfast, the restaurant was closed, but we were directed to the Armory Lounge downstairs which was open. We were happy to learn that we could order some decent food. The hostess was happy to make us some real... More
