I decided to give Becky's another try because our last experience was horrible which is unusual for Becky's. The service was very good and the food was good as well. I'm glad that we decided to go back

The food at Becky's was good and worth the 35 minute wait outside, though maybe not the 45 minute wait inside. We ate breakfast on a Saturday morning last month, and the vacation crowds fill up the place quickly - if you are a party of 2 you will most likely be seated at the counter, which has a quaint,... Been there before, but didn't seem up to snuff. A diner that serves "brown and serve" saugages....poached eggs that are rubberized from too much cooking? Remembered it better than it was. Bummer.

Our first meal in Maine for 2014. Fried clams were my choice, and very good (raised in New England so I know good). Husband had a salad which was full of fresh ingredients. Wine acceptable. Staff very personable in spite of just through rush lunch hour. Recommended to us by Hertz staff at airport and we were not disappointed.

Make sure this is a stop in Portland! Real home cooked breakfast -- including home made corned beef hash and pancakes filled with blueberries. My favorite -- the blueberry muffin-- be sure to ask for it grilled. Heaven.

We were total tourists in Portland and pieced together from Tripadvisor and friends that the plan of choice was the 10 AM mail boat ride of CASCO Bay which takes 3-3.5 hours and then a visit to this good old fashioned diner near the port called Beckys. It's a home run combination. We chose to stay in Tewskbury Mass the... More

I need not add anything, but I will. We went back 5 days to this great place. I think I had the hash every day. The blueberry pancakes were also a thing of beauty and a joy to consume. It's only a short walk to the Old part of Portland. Get there early if you don't want to wait. (But... More

Becky's is a local diner in the fish market district. Its history is amazing. Becky started the diner when she was an unemployed single mom. With the kids and hard work, she created a 'place to go.' All the national politicians who visit Portland go to Becky's for a PR stop. The food is well worth every penny (and it's... More

Small diner we found on Guy Fieri's Flavortown site. Breakfast was really good and service was very friendly.
