Description: Street and Co. is a Mediterranean, bistro style, all-seafood restaurant with a dynamic atmosphere and 20 years of experience. We are located in the Old Port district just blocks away from Portland’s working waterfront. Our chefs focus on serving the freshest seafood and the best ingredients available from local purveyors, fishermen and organic farmers. They prepare a simple yet creative menu that highlights the ingredients. Our personalized wine list truly complements the cuisine and we offer a classic full bar. We serve our full menu at the bar itself and feature a raw bar with a variety of local oysters and seasonal shellfish. Street and Co.’s comfortable lounge is great place to get together for drinks and appetizers or to enjoy while waiting for a table. Al fresco dining is available from Memorial Day through September.

We, a party of 6, were visiting in Maine and had reservations at the Street & Co. I was the first resturant we visited while in the area. As the week progressed, we found is was not the best. The fool was good, but kind of standard faire for the area's specialized resturants. Our selections were two of their lobster... More

This was our first trip to Portland. We have read many comments, however, our experience was slightly less than others. Made a reservation for a Friday night 2 weeks ago and were seated promptly in the middle room which seemed to have a few too many tables, making it difficult for the wait staff to negotiate. This made for tight... More

I have been a number of times and have actually changed travel plans to go and have dinner here. The service has been fabulous on all visits and food is to dye for. The bread is wonderful and atmosphere is fun and full of energy.

Love the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant. If you are in Portland and love seafood, this is a must visit! My boyfriend had Mahogany clams with chorizo and I had Oysters as starters and we shared the Lobster Diavolo as main course. All of our dishes was sooo tasty. We came just before closing time, the staff welcomed us... More

We go to Portland at least 3 times a year and we don't book the stay unless we know we can get a reservation. Might sound drastic but thats how much we love this place! It has an open kitchen where it does become smoky at times and noisy. I can see how some might find that to be unappealing... More

So maybe we came here on an off night - this place was recommended by some foodie friends as being a favorite of theirs, but boy did our entrees fall short of our expectations. First, let me say that the service was excellent - our waitress, a young blonde woman, was friendly and attentive - and the appetizers (oysters, salad)... More

Portland doesn't lack for great dining options, and Street & Co. is among the best. My friend and I enjoyed generous portions of fancy fare, and the date taste was divine.

Fantastic meal, shared the scallops and sole specials. Both were wonderful! Served with crunchy vegetables and potato. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The noise is loud, but certainly not unpleasant. I think it's due to the low ceiling and old building. Don't let that deter you!

We have dined here in the past and decided to go on a Thursday night. Wife and I shared a salad and fish cheeks for appetizers. Both excellent. I had my staple when I go here , the sole francaise which again did not disappoint, my wife had the scallops in Pernod and cream suggested by our waitress...tremendous. Everything is... More

This is an awesome restaurant to go to for seafood…recommended to us by many locals in Portland. However, our visit was a bit disappointing. Not because of the food, but because on that particular Tuesday night it was jam-packed and very noisy. We had reservations, fortunately, and were seated in the room that adjoins the open kitchen, and the sound... More
