Food coma!

I'm very frugal with my stars, so a 4-star is a solid review. The food is fairly priced for the large portions they offer; the bread is thick and homemade; the menu is varied and fresh. We created the omelette and frittata and tried the veggie home fries with two cinnamon pancakes! All was... read more

We were staying at the east end of Old Port so the trip up to Bayside was a bit of a hike. Not sure I'd do it again, but the crab cake and lobster bennies were both tasty.

This place is always packed for a reason: the food is killer. Amazing selection of breakfast favorite's done with a twist make this an above-average diner experience. The atmosphere is charming and the staff could not have bee nicer, despite the crazy crowds. You can tell everyone is happy to be there and proud of the food. We got a... More

I wandered in around 10:30 on a Friday morning. I was seated on the balcony quite promptly, and brought a lovely latte. Waitstaff was attentive, food was delicious.

I'm so glad we stopped for brunch on the way from Bay Harbor to Kennebunk. It hit the spot! The surroundings seemed on the sketchy side so awareness is key. Try to find parking along a side street instead of along the main thoroughfare. Take your valuables inside. Better yet, do not bring your car if you can avoid it.... More

A turned back Red Sox hat and a positive rhythmic energy emanating from the kitchen gave us great anticipation! It seemed a good energy!! Our observations while we waited removed any need to see a menu. An "Absolution" drink to start...coffee and a Benedict variety for each of us! Frustration due to rudeness removed our desire to enjoy a drink.... More

They have an amazing brunch that you have to experience for yourself. You will probably have to wait make sure it is not raining as there is not much of a place to wait inside.

Our daughter wanted us to try this place because she had a good experience here during another visit. We waited about 30 minutes before getting in and they seated us at a table in the waiting area. There were people waiting for their tables standing right next to our table, where we were eating, with their rear-ends literally inches from... More

After being in Portland as long as I have it seems almost a crime to not have gone to certain places and Bintliff's is definitely one of them. I had a wonderful experience there. The staff was courteous and prompt. The ambiance was comforting. The coffee while we waited was free. The Bloody Mary and grapefruit mimosa we had were... More

This is the second time I've been to Bintliff's, both times it has been just okay. We were seated right away upstairs. It was very noisy and hard to hear conversation at times. The menu looks very interesting. We started with the Eggs Beurre Noir which were decent. We didn't like the sweet potato addition in the home fries though.... More
