Crab cakes!

We didn't know what to expect with the new name to our go-to breakfast place when in Portland (formerly Bintliff's) and were exceptionally pleased to discover the name is the only thing that has changed. Still a menu to drool over; I mean how do you choose between Louisiana Bayou Benedict (grilled andouille sausage, homemade corn cakes, poached eggs smothered... More

Visited twice while visiting Portland for a weekend. Incredible food, and great service. The cinnamon bun pancakes are to die for! Gets really busy after nine, but so worth the wait!

This place is worth the weekend wait and takes reservations during the week. We visited as a family with young children and there is something for everyone and enough to bring some home. The pancakes are enormous and delicious. The potatoes have the perfect amount of flavor and were cooked to perfection. Wonderful place for breakfast with friends or family... More

I ordered crab cakes Benedict. The crab had a strong odor of ammonia. This is NOT a good sign. Sent it back and waiter seemed put off. He told me he needed to check with kitchen first. Really?! I don't care what you need to do. I'm not eating spoiled food. Homemade hash was better than average. Pancake was good.... More

When we ate lunch there, the place was not crowded, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. What can I say? It's such a terrific place, you want to keep it all to yourself. Beautiful, huge authentic antique wooden bars grace both upstairs and downstairs dining areas, lending a throw-back feeling to the entire experience.... More

Quite popular, trendy breakfast spot around the corner from the Portland main Post Office. We had the spinach eggs Benedict, which my wife corrected as technically not eggs Benedict as it had a cheese sauce. The eggs were perfectly cooked in one of those poaching pans, round, but not actually poached, nicely done with crumbled bacon and "wilted" spinach on... More

A great local restaurant for delicious, HUGE breakfast plates. Tons of options. Everything was delicious. Had a lot of very fun and interesting options. Under order because the portions are huge.

Great place for breakfast, brunch. We had breakfast Saturday morning, with a wait time of around 20 mins. Small cozy place with breakfast galore. Blueberry pancakes were soft fluffy and just perfect, maple syrup was extra though. Their crabcakes were nothing but crab, soft succulent and delicious with a slight proper crust. Their home fries were well seasoned and perfectly... More

Recommended by family who are huge fans of Bintliffs, their suggestions were spot on. We enjoyed a weekday late morning breakfast after driving up from CT and were seated immediately in a booth in the upstairs dining room. Service was attentive and efficient. We enjoyed Bloody Mary's to kick off our 3 day getaway road trip and they were great.... More
