I'm not a "foodie" but I bet foodies like this place. I had the beef panang and it was tasty, tender and spiced just right. Looking around I had the impression just about everyone there might live downtown and have a cat. It was cool.

I went to Boda with my partner in January 2015, right before their vacation. We had heard this was more of an upscale skewer and Thai street food restaurant as opposed to the typical Pad Thai places we were used to. It was fantastic. It was decadent and beautiful and delicious. We decided we wanted to try dishes that we... More

Cozy, personable and efficient wait staff. Bartender knows how to make a Negoni. We had the Brussels sprouts for a starter which are fantastic. The duck entrée was plentiful and stunning. The scallop and bacon skewers mouthwatering. This is a fantastic eatery.

I've had several delightful dining experiences here. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Be prepared to arrive when they open or wait near the door for the rare table to become available. This is not a restaurant where you leisurely nibble at your food - the turnover is quick and they would prefer you not linger. Some... More

Boda is the best spot in Southern Maine for Thai food. The menu is large enough that everyone in your party can find something (including gluten free) though not exhausting to look through. Reasonable prices with a late night menu that serves food until 1am. The bartenders are top notch and friendly and the restaurant clean. The Beef Panaeng is... More

My daughter and I enjoyed a great shopping weekend and we were lucky enough to have dinner here. The food was fabulous! We had the Kee Mao Noodles and the Yaowarat Duck both were out of this world best Thai we ever tasted! Highly recommended.

We drive an hour to get to Boda, but, it is well worth the trip. It never disappoints. Atmosphere is relaxing, drinks innovative, and food is yummy. They also have a large gluten free menu. Limited parking in the lot next door. No reservations. .

Arrived on a Friday night around 7:15 without a reservation- but no worries as they don't take them anyway. Waited about 20 minutes for a table- and the food was quickly served, beautiful and so flavorful- a new twist on Pad Thai-- the curry was also excellent. Loved it. Not a large dining room- entree pricing around $15 & up.

The moment you walk in the door and experience your first breath you know you are in for an unbelievable meal. Started with the bacon wrapped asparagus which were so delicious we had them for dessert also. Next came the Tom Ka soup, silky without an overpowering taste of coconut, the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the Papaya... More
