Everything was excellent!

While I was expecting to be blown away, I wasn't, but nonetheless it was excellent. The restaurant was very comfortable and we all liked the space it's in. All the food we ordered was excellent, from the beef skewers to the quail to the crab and shrimp rice dish. Our waiter was very... read more

We went there for supper. We did not have to wait. It is a small space but has a lot of seating. I had two dishes. They were both small and it was a good choice to get the two dishes. I had the beef skewers with lemon. Those were soooooooooo good. Then I had the rice ball. It was... More

I was expecting more from Boda simply because of its high rating on trip advisor. I usually am not a huge fan of asian inspired food, so that could be why I wasn't a huge fan of Boda. The atmosphere was wonderful. It was cozy and adorable. The staff was all friendly. First I ordered a strawberry vanilla Italian soda.... More

I love everything about Boda and they continue to exceed my expectations. If you've never tried the Thai sticky rice then do yourself a favor next time! All the skewers are fantastic and my wife loves the quail eggs. I love how the pad thai comes wrapped in a thin omelette. Boda is easily in my top 3 restaurants in... More

I went here with my wife to try out the discounted menu on Sunday night we had heard about from friends. Place was packed and there was a line out the door. We were thinking of leaving when we saw this, but decided to wait. I am sure glad we did! I loved the small plates idea, which allowed my... More

We knew they didn't accept reservations. We weren't surprised when we arrived at 7 on a Friday night that there was an hour wait. We found a great spot close to the bar (under a heater) and had an awesome time until our table was ready. We ate with another couple and ordered several dishes to share. It was simply... More

This place is right in downtown and is very busy on the weekends, but they don't take reservations so prepare for a wait! The food is unique for Thai and very good. There were several vegetarian options. The cocktails are fantastic, perhaps even better than the food!

I have been around long enough to have known Portland in its run down days. It was Demillo's, Boone's, the Miss Portland Diner or head to Boston. Olde Port changed all that and has become quite the culinary hot spot. Congress Street seemed to lag behind. Not a lot of life or interesting spots; a place to pass through on the... More

I'm not a "foodie" but I bet foodies like this place. I had the beef panang and it was tasty, tender and spiced just right. Looking around I had the impression just about everyone there might live downtown and have a cat. It was cool.

I went to Boda with my partner in January 2015, right before their vacation. We had heard this was more of an upscale skewer and Thai street food restaurant as opposed to the typical Pad Thai places we were used to. It was fantastic. It was decadent and beautiful and delicious. We decided we wanted to try dishes that we... More
