A group of 8 adults and 2 children dined at one of Fuji's Hibachi table. We had a great time, the food was delicious and cooked to order. I have had other hibachi experiences with more entertaining chefs, but this was still good. The chef was great about engaging the little ones and making sure they saw him lighting the... More

Ate here over a competitor due to trip advisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly. My brother and I got two rolls, two soups, and two drinks. We enjoyed everything! Our bill was ~$60. If I was in Portland and wanted sushi, I would go back!

Patty and I stopped into Fuji for Habachi in the early afternoon. Only to find that part of Fuji doesn't open until 5 pm for dinner. So we asked about other items on the menu....cooked items. (We aren't sushi people) The staff was great, seated us and we decided on the "lunch box" items. Salmon for me and Patty got... More

I have been to a number of Hibachi grills when I lived in Virginia, but this was the first one I had tried since moving to Maine. It not only met my expectations; it exceeded them. As a vegetarian, Hibachi grills I have eaten at in the past would effectively give me everyone else's sides and call it a meal.... More

Restaurant was very clean and quiet, Chefs welcome you when you walk in. Staff was very pleasant and did not rush you. Food was fantastic, many specials and a large menu to choose from. I will be eating there again !

Our chef, Sam, made the dining experience a good time for our entire party, ages 3-67. He was entertaining and the food was delicious.

I was a little concerned when I read the reviews on line about everyone saying how it was SO expensive, but I am glad I didn't listen! The food was VERY delicious and it was reasonably priced for the amount of food you got. I ordered the chicken hibachi ($16.95) and had enough food for two meals. You get a... More

This used to be my favorite place to go when in Portland, but there are so many other options now, that when we visited this Saturday night, I almost wished we had gone someplace else. The food was delicious as usual. But pricey for what it is ($120 plus tip for our family of 4). The drinks are also priced... More

Not bad but not great either. I've had better, I've had worse. This is middle of the road sushi. You likely won't be disappointed but you won't be wow-ed either.

We came in the restaurant about an hour before closing. The waitress was busy cleaning up and seemed to be more worried about getting home early than serving clients. For example, were were never offered more green tea or asked if everything was ok. I ordered a lobster salad that was supposed to include tomato consomme. In practice, it was... More
