Restaurant was very clean and quiet, Chefs welcome you when you walk in. Staff was very pleasant and did not rush you. Food was fantastic, many specials and a large menu to choose from. I will be eating there again !

Our chef, Sam, made the dining experience a good time for our entire party, ages 3-67. He was entertaining and the food was delicious.

I was a little concerned when I read the reviews on line about everyone saying how it was SO expensive, but I am glad I didn't listen! The food was VERY delicious and it was reasonably priced for the amount of food you got. I ordered the chicken hibachi ($16.95) and had enough food for two meals. You get a... More

This used to be my favorite place to go when in Portland, but there are so many other options now, that when we visited this Saturday night, I almost wished we had gone someplace else. The food was delicious as usual. But pricey for what it is ($120 plus tip for our family of 4). The drinks are also priced... More

Not bad but not great either. I've had better, I've had worse. This is middle of the road sushi. You likely won't be disappointed but you won't be wow-ed either.

We came in the restaurant about an hour before closing. The waitress was busy cleaning up and seemed to be more worried about getting home early than serving clients. For example, were were never offered more green tea or asked if everything was ok. I ordered a lobster salad that was supposed to include tomato consomme. In practice, it was... More

We wanted to mix up the seafood and get some hibachi. They would not accept reservations for 2, so we had a bit of a wait, thankfully the bar was big and open and the bartender was very nice. We enjoyed the group we were sat with, which always makes for a more enjoyable experience. Our hibachi chef was so... More

Nice atmosphere, good service but very basic on the food. Inside the rolls it the fish seemed blended, almost like baby food. I personally prefer actual fish. The flavor was there but it was definitely lacking creativity All in all I enjoyed it, but with so many other places to go in Portland it will be a while before I... More

I've eaten here a number of times over the years and it has always been a good experience. I'm a creature of habit here and almost always order the chicken teriyaki bento box, perhaps because I really like it. It's plenty of food, includes the chicken, white rice, salad, miso soup, several pieces of shrimp and vegetable tempura and a... More

Though Fuji restaurant has very basic, if not meager adornment, it manages a cozy ambiance. Its very pleasant wait staff is professional and the food seldom disappoints. Both rolls and sashimi are delectably fresh and delicate. Servings are plentiful. No stinting here. And Fuji has a great music selection--everything from jazz and Dixieland to contemporary pop. Any visit to this... More
