Good location in The old port area of Portland. Parking garage nearby. The decor is very cozy. The menu is large and interesting. We enjoyed all of our food choices.

We have been patrons here for years. The atmosphere is soothing and comfortable. I enjoy sitting in the window area. My son loves the Chicken Tikka--rich and aromatic spices, loaded with generous portion of white meat chicken. I usually go for the Chana Masala. Creamy but light. Rice is always pipinh hot and delicious. Start with any of the apps,... More

I've had Indian food at some at some of the top places in New York City and London, and Tandoor ranks among the best. Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and a cup of Masala Tea, you can't go wrong!

The food was okay, the mixed grill was very dry, but it was clean and the service was okay, nothing special , I wouldn't go back

A friend and I had dinner here while doing First Friday Art Walk recently. I've been several times before, though it has been awhile. It was especially busy on this night... presumably due to Art Walk. This appears to be a family-run business, as a troupe of darker-skinned folks walked-in half way through our meal, and into the back room...... More

We liked the location, at the top of Exchange Street, just up the hill from the Old Port. It is two or three doors from the information kiosk in the little square where Spring intersects Exchange. Pleasant inside. The service was okay, no complaints. It was not busy so the one person wait staff managed well. We ordered two curries... More

The food was terrible all round. Everything was uniformly bad. Worst was that my wife had an upset stomach within an hour.... Please avoid if you care for your health

Good food, nice service, reasonably priced. We came for a one day travel, incidentally entered for lunch that we were happy with, we returned for a dinner....

Warning, warning! We went here one night and experienced the worst Indian food ever. Read my happy reviews of may other Indian establishments ... I'm a fan and this is the opposite. The curry was salt, salt, salt and tepid to cool. The Biryani was a fried-rice joke. We left after a few bites. How does this place garner good... More

A really good dinner out. The Naan is warm and the sauces that come with it are always fresh and yummy. Ordered the chicken tikka masala and was not disappointed. Love how they adjusted the spiciness for me without an issue. I will be back.
