We're from Kentucky and heard good things about this place. How right they were! Other than Siri taking to an industrial park on the first try, the food was amazing. We ordered online on our way back from Boston, it was hot, ready, and waiting.

My husband and I never thought we'd taste a pizza that came anywhere near the kind they make in Naples, Italy. But here, at the Flatbread Company, you'll come as close to perfection as possible: fresh, quickly-fired dough in a stone oven, fresh local sauces and ingredients on top. The warm and informal, family-friendly atmosphere doesn't hurt either. Good service,... More

My wife and I were going to the Portland Brewfest and needed to kill some time, so we asked someone in a local shop where to go and Flatbread was recommended. I had a nice Peak Octoberfest, which I enjoyed a lot. Very fresh and organic, which fit with the theme of the restaurant, all organic, local ingredients. Will definitely... More

This place is always busy, so be prepared to have to wait for a table especially on the weekends! Don't shy away though because of the wait, it's totally worth it. The pizza here is delicioussss and they always have amazing specials, like just the other day they had a smoked salmon with horseradish and capers pizza. Omg. And a... More

Love the fact almost everything on the menu is organic, nitrate-free, and local. The pizza with sausage is my fav. We went here twice in our 6 day stay in the area. It's thin crust but the sauce is very good. The salad are amazing and very reasonable price considering it's all local/organic, which is so expensive in NYC. Definitely... More

We had two types of flatbread, which are really just deliciously thin pizzas. One with the traditional toppings and one with sauteed veggies including caramelized onions and salad. Everything was excellent and incredibly fresh. For a busy place, service was really good, too. This place is popular, though, we tried getting a table on a weekend night, the wait was... More

Had a really good meal here. Had to queue for 40 mins but worth it. Great to sit outside, staff very friendly, food served well. Portland definitely on the up!

Another local recommendation -- we were glad we made time for this stop. Our waitress, from one of the Islands, recommended taking the pizza on the ferry, buy a beer across the street, and that's what we did! Great service that timed the pizza order to work with our schedule.

My husband and I went to Portland for a few days. We had such a great time - fun city and great food. A friend recommended the flatbread company and we were very pleased. The flatbreads were super thin with wonderful fresh toppings. I went the vegetable route and my husband went the meat route! Plus, the server was incredibly... More

The food is absolutely delicious! All the ingredients are local and the waiters do a great job of telling you where the food comes from. We sat on the porch but there is plenty of seating inside, too.
