Walking off the plane we asked around for a good place to eat. Many people replied "the flatbread company," right near the water. The day that my husband and I were leaving we decided we'd have to try it for lunch. We had half pepperoni and half sausage with a side of Parmesan cheese (freshly grated and sharp) and their... The pizza has an anarchic/organic taste. Yeah, it tastes fresh and healthy, but I've never tasted a "gamey" pizza before. I'll pass if I have a choice next time. Wood fired is good, but this place went too far making the taste negatively complex.

We decided on a quick lunch at this pizza restaurant for no other reason than its location next to the ferry dock. Although we resigned ourselves in advance to mediocre food and atmosphere, we were surprised with a vibrant scene redolent with mouth watering aromas. Undaunted by our need for quick service in order not to miss our ferry to... More

This was the best place we ate at on our vacation to Portland. Only had about a 25 minute wait which was spent outside enjoying the water view. The pizza was absolutely perfect. We got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Not over sauced and they did not go skimpy on the toppings. Would definitely go there again.

We had the best time enjoying salad and flatbread pizza with organic ingredients. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, along the harborfront. It was a beautiful day so we opted for outdoor seating, which is at picnic tables under umbrellas. You are fully sheltered from the sun. We had the salads and a large pizza, which allowed us... More

If you love FRESH AUTHENTIC LOCALLY GROWN food and a cool atmosphere then this is the place for you. The wait is DEFINITELY worth it. If you want to eat at 7pm on a weekend, put your name in at 6pm. We discovered it at 7:30pm on a Friday night so we had a forty five minute wait. The staff... More

We sat outside to avoid the wait. A bit chilly on a June night but worth it! Take an extra jacket if you plan to do this. It gets chilly on the water when the sun goes down. Pizza lives up to the hype. Fresh, healthy, original combinations. Totally YUM!

Per suggestions from friends we went out of our way to go to Flatbread when we were in Portland and it was well worth the effort. One of the best pizzas we've ever had. The kids agreed. In fact, when we were passing back through Portland on our way home, we called ahead and took one to go with us.

This was our first time at the Flatbread Company and it was not a disappointment. The pizza was fresh and hot and the selection of ales was diverse. The service was very good. I would highly recommend the sausage pizza.
