Our restaurant actually floats, and because it is surrounded by water, every table offers spectacular views of Portland Harbor. Our outside decks are great spots to see the sights while enjoying a meal or cocktail. Maine lobster is what we do here and we do it better than anyone.

Always a fun night out

A super fun date night when in Portland. Food and drinks are yummy. But you go for the ambiance. Great for date night or a nice family meal.

Nothing more than a Portland "must do " for tourists. We booked a Casco Bay window table about three weeks before arriving. We showed up on time. We were told that our table was being prepared and to stand aside. Meanwhile many others were shown to tables. Asking for the hostess we were told sorry she was talking to a... More

I've been going to DeMillo's for seafood for 20+ years. It's not gourmet, it's not fusion and it's not innovative. It IS wonderful, traditional Maine seafood. If I want a bowl of haddock chowder, DeMillo's is the place. Same for fried clams, a fish sandwich or a fisherman's platter. Plus, the cocktails, the service and the view are always unbeatable.

This was not my first choice for dinner but my partner wanted to go as he had some fond memories of the place from several years ago. I had the twin lobster special and it was perfectly cooked. My wedge salad was generous and very tasty. The restaurant was very pleasant inside and a beautiful night overlooking the harbor. The... More

Chose DiMillo's on the Water because our daughter recommended it. Very good choice. DiMillo's is actually a huge boat right on the water at the docks in Portland Harbor. The atmosphere is upscale and so is the service. I had the Lazy Lobster, which is actually just a whole lobster removed from its shell. It made dinner a lot less... More

This restaurant came highly recommended and so we decided to go there. I thought the prices were too high but was willing to give it a chance. It was nice on the inside. Although our waiter, Ozzy, was great, the restaurant was mediocre. I'm sure that the tourists love to go there. It was irritating to have the calorie count... More

I avoided this place for years, thinking it was just a tourist trap. Recently went there because out-of-town guests wanted to try it and was pleasantly surprised. We had the best table in the house- right in front of lots of windows so the kids could watch the boats, birds, and water. Food and prices were good! Whole lobster was... More

Stopped in after several years since moving away from the Portland area. We miss it! Great views of he harbor even in winter. Had the lazy man's lobster which was very good and easy to eat as always. Save room for the bread pudding for desert, a house specialty. Great.

Very nice restaurant. Great selection of seafood. It is a large boat with a beautiful restaurant inside. It's still winter here so it would undoubtedly be better to visit in the summer with boats cruising in and out. Sitting outside is probably fantastic. Looking forward to checking it out in the summer and moving my review to give it the... More
