Our restaurant actually floats, and because it is surrounded by water, every table offers spectacular views of Portland Harbor. Our outside decks are great spots to see the sights while enjoying a meal or cocktail. Maine lobster is what we do here and we do it better than anyone.

Visited early on a Sunday afternoon - timing was just right, before the restaurant started to fill up. Seated quickly and the hostess was very accommodating in letting us choose a table other than the one she initially sat us at (we wanted closer to the windows). On a Sunday afternoon in February, the restaurant seemed to have a number... More

We went to DiMillo's tonight for the express purpose of have a great meal in a unique setting. Not disappointed even a little. We had clam chowder and baked stuffed lobster (hard to find these days), both were done perfectly. Good stand up, thick, lily white clam chowder that actually had pieces of clam in it (not always the case... More

Spent an evening here with a large group. The service was unbelievable. The three waitresses were extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgable. I tried the bacon wrapped scallops, the lazy lobster with crab meat, and the brownie sundae, all of which were delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful as well, even in the cold February weather.

I have been here a number of times selecting it especially for guests visiting Portland for the first time as the restaurant is so well situated on the water, the food choices are great and the tables permit talk and you aren't rushed. There is also parking for those who have driven.

I visited Dimillo's last summer while seeing friends. They took us out for a nice lunch. At the table we had lobster, steak, and chicken. Everybody really enjoyed the meal. We didn't have reservations so we waited for a table for a little. However we spent some time looking around the boat. There was a lot of big yacths around... More

DiMillo's is widely known locally as a tourist destination and we often scowl at the hordes that are drawn there each summer season. True enough, but as a local I think it is worth the stop every time. We usually sit outside on the rear deck( closet drinks to boats in the area) or the downstairs bar int he winter.... More

DiMillo's is a well-known establishment that serves great food. In my opinion, the prices are a bit too high, but the experience is positive. It's location on the water adds a special touch to dining at DiMillo's.

The whole concept of "on the water" is quickly lost if you're looking for impressively solid food. It's ok food that seems to please a bus load of tourists.

For the price, the food is not on par. There are many other places with better cuisine and minus the headache of parking in downtown Portland.
