Description: Our restaurant actually floats, and because it is surrounded by water, every table offers spectacular views of Portland Harbor. Our outside decks are great spots to see the sights while enjoying a meal or cocktail. Maine lobster is what we do here and we do it better than anyone.

You do not have to get all dressed up to go here. My boyfriend and I both got the lobster stew and it was amazing!! Not too thick and tons of lobster pieces in it!! I got the lazy lobster and it was cooked perfectly!! I have spent my whole life eating lobster as my grandfather is a lobsterman and... More

Our friends who are originally from Portland recommended this restaurant as a place to eat on our cruise stop. We had lunch and it was an interesting scenic waterfront restaurant. As I didn't want to do the work involved with a whole lobster, I ordered the Lazy Lobster. The dish was covered in butter and took away from the taste... More

Yes, the restaurant is huge and they don't take reservations but you will not be disappointed in the fresh seafood in this landmark establishment. Service is with a smile, too.

We've eaten in dozens of waterfront places all over the world and we really had a memorable meal here. Very much enjoyed the friendly greeting by hostesses who welcomed us to look around before choosing where we wanted to be seated. We chose the bar, which was very nice, and were promptly welcomed by a fun waiter who called our... More

Every year for my mom's birthday this is the place to go for baked stuffed lobsters. It's moist, and delicious stuffing, not lots of extras in it but just the way we like it. Do not change this recipe...or we are in trouble. Three of us each had the 1.5 pound lobster and a small salad. Not much else is... More

Not on the water, in the water sits this former ferry converted to a very nice restaurant. My husband and I enjoy going into Portland, Maine a couple of times a year to one restaurant or another, but one of our favorites over the years has always been DiMillo's. The seafood is very good and the restaurant's physical layout is... More

We had lobster rolls there. What else right? While they were very good I was a little disappointed in the amount of food for the money. You would think lobster would be fairly priced in this area. But $18.95 for a 1/2 full sandwich was a little high. The food was good. But, the lobster roll sandwich at the stairway... More

I had the scallop sandwich on this day. It was strange with tons of cheese and bacon bits on top. The scallops were tasty but I think the large amount of cheese and bacon on top detracted from the taste. There were 4 scallops on the entire roll and there could have been more if it were just scallops and... More
