Description: Our restaurant actually floats, and because it is surrounded by water, every table offers spectacular views of Portland Harbor. Our outside decks are great spots to see the sights while enjoying a meal or cocktail. Maine lobster is what we do here and we do it better than anyone.

Excellent restaurant. The food was fabulous and we couldn't resist dessert. They are very accommodating to your dietary need with suggestions already marked in the menu. This made it so much easier to order a meal how you prefer with out explaining your order in detail to the waiter. We are definitely going to visit again. It will surely be... More

Set on a ship anchored along the wharf, I thought it might be just for tourists but the food was great and so was the service. We went for lunch and liked it enough to return for dinner the next day. The soups and crab cakes were delicious and they know how to serve lobster. The special of swordfish with... More

Great location in the Old Port. The view is great. The food is very good also! It can get busy during prime eating hours.

This restaurant has been within an old ship on the Portland Old Port for decades. The food is decent with average portions and prices for Old Port Restaurants. The atmosphere is unique being a floating restaurant. You actually feel the boat sway when wakes from large boats pass by. The view of the harbor, piers, condos and docked yachts is... More

We visited DiMillos after walking past quite a few of the Portland restaurants. This was a great choice, we opted for the bar rather than the dining room, they both have the same menu. Fishermans platter was enormous, haddock cooked to perfections and the salads were good too. As a party of four the service was great with Bob our... More

They have a packed place on the waterfront and they're packing them in. Our waitperson got noticeably frosty when we delayed ordering the main course for a while.

The DiMillo family carries on in the tradition established by Tony DiMillo back in the 60's.They serve up a mix of Italian and traditional New England seafood. The lobster club is a must at lunch. Outdoors in the summer, while listening to the seagulls, or indoors anytime and enjoy the view.

From the appetizers to the deserts everything was so tasty and filling. The waitresses handled our party of 19 with ease, no one went hungry or thirsty. Lobsters were prepared beautifully ! I will be back !

I know that DiMillo's is supposed to be "touristy", however, when we drove into Portland and spoke to a few "locals" asking for the best lobster place in town, they all said: "DiMillos". They were correct. Located on a huge boat sitting along a dock on the waterside, DiMillo's is an adventure. The [place was jamed, but we (4) were... More

This place was highly recommended by my daughter' s boyfriend who lived here for a year. It is on a converted ferry. Food was excellent and the view was outstanding as we originally were seated on the back deck, however it stared to rain and they already had backup tables reserved inside. Seafood is there specialty but there are other... More
