Get the brown butter lobster roll- I almost didn't but was convinced by my friend to stray from the mayo- it was amazing! I've never had anything like it and I doubt I will again, until I come back to Portland. The clam chowder and bloody Mary were also delicious. Great service and decor, too.

This place has a great vibe & the lobster roll is without a doubt the best I've ever tasted. I'm from Maine so I've sampled a lot of lobster rolls. Enough said.

So we're in Portland for lunch on the way up to Brunswick. We looked on trip advisor for a nice place to get some oysters and picked the Eventide. Cute place, very small but nice. We sat by the window at some bar stools and a nice counter looking out onto the street. It took a while to get a... More

I found this online and it seemed like it would be a good place to go on a free night. I had read that there could be long waits but, as it happens, they have expanded and it was not the big tourist season. We got a great seat up at the bar so that we could watch the action.... More

Oh my God. What more can be said? Best lobster roll (yes, the brown butter one) I've ever had -- and I've had many. Great wine, great service, excellent chowder, lettuces, and whoopie pies. I would fly here every month just to sit at the bar and service my Mainiac needs if it were possible. Great hipster vibe but with... More

Freshest oysters & fun app's as well. Seating could be a bit more comfortable. Not suited to elders when climbing into a picnic table.

Three of us visited for an impromptu oyster tasting. We were given a great spot at the bar withing a minute. We tried three of the mixed oyster platters served so fresh. We also had some of their wonderful cocktails followed by a clam bake. All served with enthusiasm and friendliness by the brilliant staff. I would definitely go again,... More

crisp clean restaurant, we went for lunch with our 2 little kiddos under 3, friendly staff sat us with another family at a share table with tons of space for the little ones to spread out. Oysters were wonderful served with frozen horseradish or tabasco- highlights : chickpea fries, lobster roll with warm butter and lobster stew

Lobster roll to die for, and I have tried them from coast to coast. Everything is delicious. This place is always busy, and deservedly so. The food is fresh and presented in a most appealing way.
