Best Lobster Rolls in Portland!

From start to finish, this place rocks! The staff was some of the nicest and most pleasant people I've met in a restaurant business and quickly set the group into a wonderful mood. We started the meal with two dozen raw oysters, Eventide has special horseradish "ice" and tabasco "ice" as well as... read more

Just finished lunch at this spot... It is fantastic! We got lobster rolls which are perfectly seasoned, delicious non traditional butter rolls. The portions could be slightly bigger but the sides we ordered completed the meal nicely. Definitely try the cole slaw and bbq cauliflower!

The location of the restaurant is nice but it ends there. If you like the hipster scene then this place may be for you but I for one don't enjoy spending $12 on 5 pieces of tuna and $15 on a small lobster roll. Why does raw food automatically command a premium? The sides were $5 each but at least... More

Wonderful atmosphere, great oysters, little necks and drinks! We went off season so it was not crowded. Very enjoyable.

This is the place for the best selection of oysters in the Portland, ME area. The service is good and you can see them shucking your order while you enjoy a drink. The lobster roll is adequate and their soup is also better than average, A MUST STOP in ME.

I visited this restaurant on Friday afternoon after what I thought would be the lunch rush, but it was still pretty busy. It didn't seem like they had a dedicated hostess and they were busy enough to need one. My friends and I waited about 20 minutes for a table. We ordered Oysters and some sandwiches and they both took... More

My husband and I went to Maine for Memorial Day weekend and had lobster everyday of the four day trip, the lobster roll from here being the tastiest. We chose Eventide from reviews on TA and I had read about the oysters from here from several other sources. We waited about an hour for a table, which was fine because... More

While the high prices, small portions, and crowded accommodations are more befitting of a restaurant in Boston or New York than Northern New England, the uniqueness of the food here more than makes up for these drawbacks. The brown butter lobster roll is top notch, small but very rich and packed with big chunks of lobster meat. The other dishes... More

We found this restaurant on yelp. It was one of the few opened after 8pm. No long wait to get a table. We ordered some local oysters. All of them were delicious, very fresh and unique flavors. I also had the lobster roll and the soft shell crab. Both were excellent. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff.

My husband and I went for dinner. The oysters were delicious (albeit pricey), but the other items we ordered were "meh" and tiny. Not worthy of the hype. After spending $60 there, we ended up down the street at Otto's because we were still hungry. We had a great meal (and I mean, a MEAL) for less than half the... More
