I do not think I ever saw so many selections of gelato offered in a store. They let you try any flavor you want. Very good taste and texture. I got the chocolate caramel sea salt and it was delicious. I cannot wait to come back here again!

Had this gelato yesterday and back for more today. Different flavors available and a lot to choose from. Staff very friendly. Had 4 types in one medium cup. All were great! Sorry I have to leave Portland.

I've never had gelato before, and my wife insisted we try this place as we walked past it. Once inside, we were greeted by friendly staff who explained everything in detail. How to order, what to sample, prices, and even how they make the gelato in house every day. I sampled around 8 flavor, and ended up getting a small... More

This place is amazing because of the diverse flavors of gelato they have! I had the monster cookie flavor; it was amazing, The best part is they let you taste any flavor you want before making your choice which is great because they have so many flavors.

Gelato Fiasco has literally tons of different, interesting and delicious flavors of gelato and sorbetto going on--they also have wonderful pour-over coffee available and a great seating arrangement inside with either easy chairs and side tables or little tables and chairs. One can also sit outside on their patio and watch the Old Port foot traffic flow by in the... More

It's easy to see why it was just voted the best dessert place and best ice cream in Portland. Everything we sampled was amazing but our favorites were the Brownie Batter (chocolate batter flavor with big hunks of brownie mixed in) and the Sweet Resurgam (roasted almonds, burnt sugar, chocolate chips and caramel) With 29 flavors made fresh daily -... This is the closest thing to the gelato that my husband and I had in Italy. You can sample as many flavors as you like and there is also no limit to the number of flavors that you can put together in your cup. Every flavor that we tried was absolutely delicious!

I was here over the weekend, and the gelato tasted more like ice cream to my friends and I. Sure, there is a huge selection, but creativity sometimes compromises the intended product - authentic gelato. We now wish we went across the street.

OMG! You have not had gelato like this; fantastic flavors, reasonable prices and generous servings. We also stopped at the one in Brunswick since we liked this one so much. It's small, but worth finding.
