The new location on Exchange St is wonderful. It's a great environment for sitting with friends and the service is excellent. There is a huge variety to choose from the menu is like a little encyclopedia of tea. Would highly recommend!

Looking for a place to get away in Portland and feel like you've escaped? Try Dobra tea. For more open and with lots more ambient light than the old location, it still has the same inviting vibe.with a huge list of teas predominately from Asia – the Chick-fil-A China, Japan and Korea, there is a wonderful array of green, white,... Spend an hour there relaxing, reading a book and sipping some fabulous tea. Great vibe, can't wait to go back.

Dobra Tea has an extremely comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and an incredible selection of teas. I've been here twice in two weeks and will come back anytime I am in Portland. I was warmly welcomed on a rainy afternoon and read until I had finished two pots of tea. A wonderful place.

Wish we had more of this type of tea house in big cities, a very 'zen' place where you could sit quietly to meditate on the stuff of life, or enjoy tea and other light fare with friends (in quiet conversations). Different kinds of seating arrangements, the idea is to take you away from the bustling city and provide you... More

A lovely little place: dozens of different teas, the menu describes each. Sit at a table, ring the brass bell when you're ready to order. The wait staff knows the teas as much as a sommelier knows wine. It's food, mostly middle eastern, is beautifully prepared and presented.

Dobra is an inexpensive place to relax in comfort while exploring some familiar and unusual teas and tisanes. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. You order from an 82pp menu with full descriptions of the teas and photos of them, and then the staff prepare it expertly for you so it always comes out right. At the front of... More

I had no idea what to expect, but I am glad I took the time to go here. My self and 2 teenage gals 15 & 17 got a seat in one of the 'tea temples'. We took our shoes off and sat on pillows and read the tea book. Ordered up some nibbly bites, Hummus, Dahab (goat cheese and... More
