On a recent July 4th week long trip to Maine, I was in search of the perfect Lobster Roll. I had the chance to try 5 from various places in southern Maine, and the one from Fisherman's Grill was the absolute king. What you're looking for of course is the right ratio of Mayo, salt, pepper, Lobster on the perfectly... More

We went based on tripadvisor's recommendation. The lobster rolls were delicious. A mini is huge! The hot dog and fried shrimp on the kids menu were a big hit. It was the best fried shrimp I have ever had. The clam chowder was fabulous, too. It is a small restaurant, but the food is worth it.

After reading trip advisor reviews we decided to find this place. Hole in the wall best describes it. The website and door sign said open at 12pm. As we approached the door someone came out and said they wouldn't open for another 20 minutes. So we went back to the car to wait. After 20 minutes we tried to go... More

We came based on the reviews we read . The establishment is small with only few tables inside and few more outside benches. The food is out of the world good. Best lobster roll, clam chowder, and fried clams we ever tasted. Lobster roll comes in different sizes. We order the jumbo that is $29 but is overflowing with lobster... More

Spent a couple of days in Portland Maine. We stumbled upon this gem of a place. The service was awesome and the food was incredible! Mike (the chef) was very friendly and you could definitely see the amount of joy and love he puts in his cooking. Hands down the best lobster rolls I've ever eaten. The scallops were enormous... Spent a week in the Portland area & tried lobster rolls from numerous restaurants but none even came close to this one. Owner is very friendly & made conversation with me on my numerous occasions waiting for him to prepare my lobster rolls for take out. What an awesome place & I highly recommend.

We live less than five minutes from Fishermen's Grill. The first time we tried to order (around 5:00), they were closed for a doctor's appointment. The second time we tried to order (again, around 5:00) they were closed (no explanation). We were finally able to find them open and ordered a haddock dinner and a scallop dinner. Although their menu... More

We arrived at 11:53 AM on Thursday 6/26, expecting the restaurant to open at 12. There was sign posted on the door that said Fishermen's Grill would be opening at 12:15 that day. We almost left as we were leaving Portland to head back to Atlanta, GA and had quite a drive ahead of us. Boy am I glad we... More

This is the best lobster I have ever had! Plenty of meat. Their cam chowder is spectacular. Very satisfied. Joe
