Succulent!

Last lobster of summer! Lobster roll was so succulent and not overdressed you can taste the ocean nestled in a crisp buttered roll. French fries were perfectly sea-salted and fried to a not-too-crisp, had to eat every last one, texture. Coleslaw was almost as good as my German grandmother's... read more

Don't understand the hype about this place. The lobster roll was not particularly outstanding and the place was rather grotty.

Stopped first day back in Maine this year as this was our favorite lobster roll last year. This year - just as good. Nothing for ambiance - just 4 picnic tables by the road - but the food is the best, Rolls overflowing w/lobster. Best Clam Chowder ever. Pricey for a family of 6 - but it IS lobster and... More

Unbelievable lobster roll. Super delicate lobster, not dressed up with too many mayo or butter. Just absolutely delicious. The prices are a little steep, but it's truly worth it. My fiancé and I shared the classic, which was gigantic. I can't imagine what the jumbo would have looked like. We also shared scallops over salad. I normally don't really like... More

Their lobster rolls are crazy huge, we had to eat half-off the top with a fork before being able to pick it up. The clams are very large and equally delicious.prices are reasonable for the amount you receive. I am very difficult to impress and I was.

Usually if I take the time to write a review its because one of two things happened: the experience was really good, or it was really awful. Our experience at Fisherman's grill was really good. So good in fact that we stop whenever we're in Maine. So why come here when there are hundreds of seafood places to choose from... More

We returned here for the second year in a row. The food is outstanding and the price is very reasonable. Cash only and not a lot of sitting space but the staff and food are terrific! I highly recommend the clam chowder and/or the seafood stew. The stew is made to order and out of this world.

Very friendly and personable owner. This small cafe was just right for us to grab some delicious clam chowder as we passed through Portland. We will return!

I found this little place w/ my map quest finder & still drove past it; its that tiny of a spot -however boy do they know what they are doing. This was my first meal in Portland & I came back a few days later as I was leaving; both times the food was fantastic. I had the lobster roll... More

We made a special trip there and the restaurant is CLOSED. I don't know why or for how long. Too bad. We were really looking forward to a nice meal there.
