This is the second time I've been to Little Seoul and I would go back again. We got the same thing since it was so good the first time and it didn't disappoint. We had the bibimbop and they told us that if we let it sit a while, the rice gets crispy on the cast iron bowl. It is... More

Portland has exploded with Asian Fusion restaurants in the past few years. Perhaps often overlooked due to its small size and proximity to larger/grander looking eating establishments is Little Seoul, an inexpensive Korean restaurant next door to the Tandoor (at one time both of these small eateries were one restaurant, the late, great Afghan Restaurant, and they remain physically connected... This is perhaps the BEST Korean food I have ever experienced. The setting is very cozy and the staff is friendly. The food was amazing and service very quick. My mother is not comfortable ordering on her own in Asian restaurants, but the waitress quickly made a couple of excellent suggestions. We ended up picking one each and they were... More

Went here with my boyfriend, We both are very fond of Asian cuisine (her is first gen Vietnamese-American). We found the food to be very good. The spicy ssam is a must try, as are the kimchi pancakes. I like my kimchi a bit hotter, but for those new to kimchi it will surely be spicy enough. Overall, everything we... More

I have to start out by saying...WOW. The food was delicious and the presentation was great! I had never been to a local korean restaurant and we came here for my birthday, I will have to say we will be going back again and again. I had marinated beef with vegetables and my husband had stir fried udon, delicious.

The restaurant was empty save for one other table, but as the night progressed on this Saturday evening a number of people joined us. The sole waitress greeted us with a smile and directed us to a table for 4. We started off with pumpkin soup that was sweet yet a bit spicy, just like me, plus an avocado salad... More

My parents and I went into this place before our show at Merrill and all of us had a great time at Little Seoul. It was my parents’ first time trying Korean food and they had Bi-Bim-Bop and a sashimi rice bowl as our server recommended. They loved it very much. I had spicy seafood udon which had lots of... Two friends and I just shared the most delicious gyoza, spring rolls, tempura vegetables (appetizer portion), a bib-im-bop, a rice dish that crusts up with an egg on top that cooks as you stir the bowl, and another dish the name of which I didn't get which was SO good I want to go back there immediately. Someone who reviewed... More

I LOVE the bimibap and the sushi cracker appetizer. Also soup. The noodle dishes so far are also very nice, but I only get to sample when I go with someone who likes to share because I keep ordering bimibap. Mmm, crunchy rice bottom and egg on top. We ordered a maki roll one time: it was good but I... More
