Got take out from this place. The reuben was delicious. The jerk chicken wings were amazing. Be careful don't confuse the "ginger soda" with "gingale" I would defiantly come back.

We enjoy eating here and do so 3 or 4 times a year. The salads and sandwiches are consistently good. Our only complaint is that whenever we visit, the dining room is always a mess; the tables are dirty; the salt and pepper shakers are near empty and dirty; and tonight, the ketchup bottle was near empty and the ketchup... This place has got it down. I lived in south Louisiana for many years and it is hard to find quality of food anywhere else. I had an oyster po-boy (large) and some Zapp's chips, which are, of course, from Louisiana. Had a local beer which was a nice complement. What makes it work -- the bread. If you can't... More

If you love New Orleans style po boy sandwiches, this place is for you. They use fresh Maine seafood to offer a wide variety of po boy sandwiches in several sizes. We had the fried fish and fried shrimp po boys. They were excellent. Prices are very reasonable. There is no waitress service meaning you order at the counter and... More

This small local sandwich shop has a great menu of New Orleans style sandwiches, great sweet tea and awesome sweet potato fries. Our son suggested we try it on a trip to Portland and since then, it has been a favorite lunch spot. I love the Reuben with thick slices of corned beef and locally made sauerkraut, but there are... Big fan of this place, great Sandwiches and the voodoo wings are awesome. Perfect takeout place for a lazy Sunday... The only complaint I have is the line is long which is a very good thing for them

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try while driving through Maine. We were really happy we did - the food was very good. I had the BBQ beef po boy and my partner had the blackened fish sandwich. We also opted for the fried pickles - just to try them - and were so glad... More

Had the peacemaker and the shrimp and oysters were cooked perfect. Really enjoyed the sweet potato fries and good banana shake. Not the best key lime shake but overall I was really impressed.

We had tired of the somewhat overpriced selections on Commercial Street and thought we would try this location. It is an unpretentious little restaurant that packs a huge flavor punch. The reviews are spot on here. Our group had the chicken/sausage gumbo, the sausage red beans and rice, fried shrimp poboy and a vegetarian salad - all of them being... More
