Charming décor, excellent food

Classic Italian cuisine at its best. We shared a mixed salad, very fresh, followed by spinach and ricotta ravioli with a sage butter sauce. My companion chose the goat cheese ravioli with caramelised onions. The wine list is all Italian and our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The décor is... read more

The menu is not huge, but every element of the dishes offered is super-fresh and delicious. The home-made pastas are what we return for and dream about. Service has always been smiling and cheerful. Corner location provides lots of light for a summer evening, decor is rustic, restaurant is not large but exceedingly pleasant, open to the kitchen.

This is one of the pasta meccas of Maine, and not to be missed. All the pasta and sauces are homemade, and with the peasant-y blue and yellow decor, you would swear you were in southern Italy. The menu is limited, but ask about the specials which often tend to be lighter. The lemon sorbet frozen in the lemon is... More

Limited menu of homemade pasta dishes. Pasta tender and tasty. The lasagna was Bolognese style, no ricotta. A nightl special of pasta with haddock and shrimp done very well. Casual atmosphere, good service, and nice wine selection.

Very low key for Portland, this casual dining restaurant offers a limited, but deliciously prepared, authentic Italian pasta menu. Their sauces and pastas were freshly made and simply served--no frills and garnishes, just good food! Service was friendly, prompt but not rushed. Limited menu selection, sure, but if you're yearning for a plate of perfectly cooked and sauced pasta, give... More

This was our second visit to Paciarino and we were disappointed. The service (early Sunday evening in June) was slow. But it was the food that really did not live up to expectations. The restaurant trumpets its fresh Italian fare and suggests that the food mimics traditional Italian cooking. While the salads were fresh, the pastas were no better than... More

Came for lunch and was a little sad at how small the menu was, would have hoped for more options since you can do some many things with so many kinds of pastas, but everything tasted very good and would easily think of this place for another quick easy lunch

We found a comfortable, casual setting with quick, friendly service and authentic Italian food. The owners have a fantastic backstory of coming to Maine from Italy. The pasta was perfectly prepared and fresh-- you can absolutely taste the difference. The sauce, also fresh, was fantastic! This is a small restaurant, so reservations would be helpful on a weekend. The lasagna... More

When I walked through the door, I was greeted by the sounds of the Italian language being spoken by two couples. The food was outstanding. The pastas homemade. I'll return. Ciao!

Excellent quality however, a limited selection. The portion size could be a bit larger. Attentive staff although it was not a busy evening.
